Poke Pelago Glitch?

This happened to me and soleil friends yesterday.
Maybe the change of the month ... there is something to investigate.

I had all my berries suddenly fully grown and a ridiculous amount of beans to pick up when I turned it on today. I think something weird happens when the month changes.

Yeah the same just happened to me. I planted some Berries earlier and went on a stone search. I went into the Route 8 PC to check the prices on the special balls and when I just checked all timers had finished.

I had about 30 minutes left on my bean counter for the training isle and I put Pokemon in while the beans were going.

I should clarify that I also put my 3ds in sleep mode while I was in the menu for buying the special balls.

Rip my poke pelagos timers. Time for science. I almost wonder if when the month changes it adds a months worth of time to the timers. The lock is only for 24 hrs. If it does skip a month we can abuse this.

If a dataminer or someone else have informations about the reproductibility of this it would be perfect. Just to see if we can also get infinite xp.

All you have to do is set date to Jan. 31 with a few minutes before the date change in the 3ds settings. I kept it closed while I waited. Don't know if it matters.

We better abuse this before Nintendo catches wind.

After checking wonder trade works and so does random battling. I have no friends awake to try with but I can't see it not working as the other function work. I haven't reset my time by the way.

Some friends reported that they couldnt see their friend-code added friends in the festival plaza when they had changed their hour that is why il Was asKing.

My friends are still there for me.

You see them disconnected ? Because that is the point my friends reported that even if they were connected at the same time they saw each other disconnected

Mine were completed overnight even though they were supposed to take 24 hours.
I think it's a glitch with the month

I'll have to check in the morning as my friends are all sleeping.

You should be able to do 18 at once. I'm going to test it out.

With no comparison the glitch will be faster

It works. I picked this guy because I know their eggs take so long to hatch. The only bottle necks I see are waiting for the animations each time and waiting for more eggs. So if you combine both methods that would probably be fastest.

Can probably spam this to get pokemon to level 100 very fast also

A Quick calculation gives 2hrs for ev and levelling 18 mons to the level 100...

Considering you get 300 per play session and you can multiply that by 99 you get 29,700 exp every 5 or so minutes for like 18 Pokemon at a time.

At the least of it doesn't turn out to help late game which I bet it will you can use that to just get a ton of op Pokemon the moment you clear the fire trial and make the rest of the game a breeze. I can see speed runners using this.

I think it might be because the glitch only occures on the transition between Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 and really. Who would mess with the date and mess up the Poke Pelago just to try and cheat the system?

The game came out in november if it is really due to a month transition november to december too early and december to january we were all partying so...

I just tested it. I can say for sure it doesn't work with Dec to Jan. I think the theory about the Leap Year variable might be on to something.

IDK what happened, but over night all my stuff leveling up, berries, treasure hunt, and eggs were done. I know for a fact that most of that stuff shouldn't have been done until tonight.

This is a glitch, maybe it has t do with the date on the DS.

According to bulbapedo, shards are more common than Hard Stones when you search for shards, but not when you search for interesting items. Either way, gold caps are still fucking scarce.

Regarding hatched eggs/mons, one might be able to tell if they've been used for this glitch solely by their dates

Not necessarily. Remember that the eggs don't hatch until you specifically click on them, and you can transfer them to the PC with only one step until hatching. In theory, someone could hatch the ideal egg, reset, move the egg out before it hatches, change the date, and hatch it manually.

It's less useful than Poke Pelago, but I think this glitch also affect the Festival Plaza. Basically the more time passes, the more guests that give you FC appear (those with pink text basically). I've noticed that today there we a lot more of these guests, which makes me think the same glitch where the game thinks it has passed more time than it actually has occures there too

It seems you have to be in the game for it to work. I was in bank when it rolled over the last time I did it and it failed to auto complete everything.

If so, then it would be 63 sessions. But if you're using the exploit, then setting it to 99 doesn't matter.
