Island Scan Pokemon with HA bred in Gen 7, Gen 3/4 mons in Apricorn Balls, and transferred RBY Pokemon evolved into things not available in Gen I are trade banned. Not sure if anything else, besides some events, are having problems, but those categories seem to be banned across the board.

Apparently, you can still trade HA Island Scan mons if they were transferred, just not any Gen 7 offspring. So you could breed it in Gen 6 and then transfer and trade it, I guess?

I think Gastrodon is better than NU from what ive seen in battle spot

some things that happened to me playing online on the 3DS

-gets trapped by Mega Gengar, tanks shadow ball, one shots Gengar with an earthquake when it had no attack evs nor curse boost.
-defeats protect + leech seed + heavy slam + substitute Celesteela in stall wars if it has scald and recover, Heavy Slam only has 10 pp, they generally forfeit after seing Gastrodon use recover.

I am not saying it is OU worthy, but it doesnt feel like a shitmon at all.

Gastrodon has it's niche in OU as a bulky counter. It was kind of viable last gen where Manectric and things that couldnt 2HKO it were abundant and it could set up on them via Curse. It has a bit more trouble now simply because things are either too offensive or stally. It performed best against the bulkier offenses of last gen.

Okay, I've heard that Island Scan mons with HA are not tradeable now because of some mysterious reasons. Also some other testers reported that gen III-IV mons with HA and in apricorn balls are also not tradeable.
