While still EV training my shiny Rockruff on Isle Evelup last night, I randomly got another shiny Rockruff from WT. It's level 1 and Adamant, but the person who bred it didn't seem to care about anything else. But this is cool because I'll be able to have shiny forms of both Lycanrocs. Just need to get one of my friends with Moon to evolve one of them.

It is actually visible when it isn't using the Z-Move, but it's very faint, much like early garchomp or seel. Easiest to see if you look at the little puff on top of it's head while it's next to a non-shiny, since that's actually the only visible part that changes outside the Z-move.

Dhelmise maybe, because it can be pretty weak and meh. Just boring because it takes so long you basically have to make it the new caller every time since it's so awful, and it's ghost so you need scrappy plus the scrappy holding a shed shell.
Drampa, well there's a reason Moon's Lanakila Pokemon are lower level, and that's it. The thing WILL put some decent sized dents in a lot of pokemon, even higher level ones, because of it's massive SpA, so bring a special defender. Other than that it's not nearly as hard as Dhelmise, I was considering it after Slowbro, Mimikyu and Bounsweet.

So I have a shiny Slurpuff named Sundae that I bred in ORAS. Took me 647 eggs iirc, and I EV trained her and everything. However this was before I got into breeding for competitive purposes, so I'm p sure her IVs are shit + she doesn't have a good nature + HA.

Should I just transfer her up and not worry about having a competitive shiny Slurpuff, or should I try to breed another one in SM when Bank opens up? I don't even have a HA Swirlix, so I'm gonna have to try and get that first if I try.

I finished last night, what I did was snipe any mons I didn't have with what I had, then captured Magmar, Electabuzz, Slowpoke and Feebas, made them hold the trade items and asked for their evolved forms in GTS, got all of them in like 5 mins, then just try to get a Relicanth with them and mass produce the Relicanth for the rest, its like a goldmine

I think after getting relicanth, I may go for a blue t-rex now since Tyrantrum has a nice dark blue color to it. I'm also working on getting a careful natured shiny gyarados from Soul Silver by playing through it again since bulky mega gyarados with t-wave, d-dance, dragon tail, and waterfall works pretty well since you can cripple half someone's team with t-wave, juggle any setup mons with dragon tail (excluding fairies, which is what waterfall is for), and d-dance when they get swapped into something that wouldn't fare well against mega gyarados.

I can't count the number of times people have quit on showdown from me just dragon tailing their setup sweeper after they used something like evoboost baton pass eevee, shell smash minior, etc.

The argument that there is no work behind shiny hunting with the RNG is a little silly, as it takes effort and knowledge to calibrate properly and hit the seed. Even with how easy it is to RNG in the 5th generation, it takes work to manipulate the RNG to produce a shiny for you. You can also RNG in FRLG and in XD/Colosseum, and those are a bitch to do. I'd just consider SRing or not shiny hunting at all on those games, honestly.
