I'm not sure there's much to read, you can browse the drama over in /hbg/ over on /vg/.

The general gist is that the author of luma used the same password across multiple sites, including a hacked iso site. "Hackers" used the password to mess with github and the author's gbatemp account.

It's all a waste of time, as there are back ups of the code for luma. Just petty drama.

Dump your update, edit the bin, done in 3 minutes. Sharing bins is also illegal. Use decrypt9/godmode9 etc, /r/3dshacks has a guide in the comments of its thread, also ask here for doubts, it was kinda hard for me too

Relevant copypasta, Luma only, tho.

1. Go to eShop and download the update for SM ver 1.1
2. Go into Luma and delete the previous patched code.bin
3. Go to https://github.com/SciresM/SMPatcher/releases/tag/1.1 and grab SMPatcher.IPS.files1.1.zip
4. Go into SD:\luma and create the folder path:
SD:\luma\titles\0004000000175E00\ for moon or SD:\luma\titles\0004000000164800\for sun.
5. Extract the ips patch from the zip you just downloaded and paste it in the "0004..." folder you just created.
6. Rename the ips file to "code.ips"
7. Boot up your 3ds and open LumaUpdater, choose to update to latest hourly build.
8. Reboot and hold Select on boot to enter Luma menu, Check the "enable game patching" option.
9. Load up your game and you should be able to inject again.

I just used 3ds.guide to install Luma and all that shit, I didn't check here and now I see it's hacked or whatever. Am I fucked? How2fix?

I updated Moon with the Freeshop because I cant open the Eshop (error 022-2634 and I'm lazy to fix it).

Just wanted to hop in to say that I got CFW running with 3ds.guide and was able to use LUMA on 1.1 to run the no outline/injection patch on Sun, if anyone else is wondering whether to go for it! The latest model of LUMA posted on the guide is safe at the moment.

I just downloaded the homebrow starter kit, the soundhax and the otherapp and dropped it on my SD card. There is also a 3DS folder but I didn't them in there. After that I opened the sound menu, clicked on the birds, closed it, reopened it but the soundhax.mp4 won't show. There's only a title named: <3 Nedwil 2016 and if I click it I will get a red screen

Mallow should be 200, which is c8 in hexidecimal. The bytes are in the opposite order so it's c8 00 instead of 00 c8 like you would normally expect.
