You guys do realize that Pikachu was only hit with ONE of the palms, right? If Pikachu was hit with ALL of them, it would have instantly killed him.

To put it into terms only the most autistic anime fans will understand, it's like Byakuya vs Ichigo. Byakuya couldn't defeat Ichigo because his attack power was spread apart in his millions of flower petals. Hariyama was definitely powerful after his Belly Drum, but what point is that if his Z-Move will miss 99% of its attack? Like Ichigo, Pikachu concentrated ALL of his attack power in a single focal point.

That is why Ash won.
