.m4a goes somewhere on the sd (make sure you use the updated one, he just pushed a new one 5 minutes ago)

(also make sure you have the contents of the starter zip so it can actually launch the hbl)

then you start the 3ds sound app that is on every 3ds and try to play the musicfile on the sd:

download jksm and merge the 3ds folder in there with the one on your 3ds.

Go into the hbl via soundhax, start jksm, select pokemon to dump your savegame and dump it to the sd card.

Put sd card in your pc, edit with pkhex, save, sd card back into the 3ds, hbl, jksm, inject savegame, done.

On n3ds you can also do the qr injection method via hans explained in the op.

Make sure to keep backups of your savegames in case something goes wrong
