How do I deal with relaxo/vape/dnite gyms with these shits. Jolteon's thundershock is so terribly bad. Vileplume seems to do alright against vape's, but Relaxo's and Dnites are such a fucking pain.

Its not hard, i pretty much only play on the bus outside of gym battling (but most days i dont have the time for that so i cash in for 10-30) and hit lv31 soon. Not that big of a city, no US baby mode and i didnt even play some weeks. So i think anybody can do this pretty easy without playing 24/7. At least if you played during the thanksgiving event and did 1-2 mass evos with double XP.

LV30-31 accounts are also not that rare around here, level 32+ are mostly obvious spoofers but after lv30 levelinh up becomes really hard and there is also no reward doing it so that isnt surprising

These kind of posts always surprise me, but also remind me the type of people that use 4chan.

Different areas have different levels of spawn rates. Big cities like NYC have a bunch (30-60) lvl 40s (legit) b/c of the absurd amount of mons that spawn in a small area there.

It is infact harder for some to get to lvl 30 than others. In my area lvls 32-36 are the norm. Ik the majority are legit b/c i sees them when im doing my pokestop runs.

Heads up, the Open Street Map trick works.

There's a small park a few blocks from my house that never spawned any pokemon (it wasn't dark green in PoGo), so I went on OSM and it wasn't marked as a park, just a playground (even though it's 80% grass). So I marked it as a park on December 9th.

Fast forward to the nest migration on December 14, and suddenly it was a Seel nest. Now another migration is about to happen tomorrow, so it should change.

So check to make sure the areas in your neighborhood are marked correctly. Don't forget to add walking paths if those aren't there as well.

assuming you have an account, the first button in the upper left says EDIT. When in edit mode, you get options to place a marker, line or area.
Rest should be easy, label your area as park from the type menu. I also add name and other descriptions to look legit for others.

Also mischief thing to do is edit others' work and turning it to parks, I wonder how will it turn out.

So I went to my city's pier (great place holy shit its so nice) by chance and found out that water Pokémon really do appear more near water!
I'm going to go there more often, shame it doesn't have any pokestops, it deserves at least 3 and a gym.

You get instantly detected if you use a rooted phone or emulator like Nox, but I've been spoofing on my crappy phone since September and haven't been banned yet. It should be noted that my other account got banned but that was through Nox.

The secondary account I made way back when hasn't been touched yet, so it's just my new primary now. I think it's because some phones GPS systems are so bad, it's hard to tell the difference between that and actual spoofers. For example, when I don't spoof and actually play, my GPS starts to drift just by putting my phone in my pocket.

The type of pokemon in the egg is dependent on surrounding biome, from my experience, nest spawns don't affect them at all. 10kms might not be affected by anything at all.
So far the stop near my house gave me Mabuto, Scyther, Relaxo, Elekid and Magby.

What we call "biomes" are basically spawn point types, and each spawn point has a biome property that dictates the spawn rates for that specific spawn point. The common water "biome" spawn point spawns the exact set of shitmons all the time, the common grass park biome type, Clefairy type, Eevee type, Drowzee type, etc. etc. There are also overlapping spawn points which is why some spawn points don't obviously seem to belong to one biome or another, and why you see shit like geoduo >>31068466, and it's totally possible for a random spawn point in the middle of the ocean to be say...a Drowzee spawn for no fucking reason. Biomes are a property of individual spawn points, not the geography.

I hatch shit I never find in a wild all the time but because my stop spinning routes are always the same, it's always the same subset of shitmons with the occasional variety. But there are definitely some I never ever saw in an egg, and as other people have noted, different stops have different egg type drop rates but that's not because they have different "2km / 5km / 10km" drop rates, they have different Pokemon drop rates (e.g. the stops near the river biome spawns drop more water type eggs) and they just happen to be mapped to the 2/5/10 km egg types before you get them as an egg.

I dreamt again that I was catching a Snorlax, this time I travelled to the past back when everyone played the game and found it randomly in a park.

I've read that before, I think you misunderstand me.
Nests aren't affected by the common biome of the area and don't seem to affect eggs at all. For example, I had a Growlithe nest near a pond a while ago, where normally nothing but water mons spawned. Despite them being non-water biome spawns, the eggs that I picked up there still only shat out Starmies/Slowpokes/Goldeens etc.

why do you think that's the case? I mean, I used to think that as well, but recently my experience is telling me something else and there's no real evidence to support that.
I've been spinning two of my pokestops that are like 40 meters away from each other almost exclusively for the past week whenever I need eggs. One has like 40% drop rate of 10kms, the other hasn't given me one yet. It seems to give a lot of 2kms instead (about one in three). If what you said was true, wouldn't they have similar drop rates for egg types? There's no pattern in what hatches from the 10kms either.

My experience is that I never see a Pokemon in an egg that I haven't already caught several of in the wild at least once.

Maybe nests don't affect eggs but the rest of the spawn points do. I probably shouldn't have said nests, I meant to only talk about biomes and nearby spawns affecting eggs.

The stops near the river near me spawn a shitton of water eggs, the downtown stops spawn a shitton of Rattata and shitmon eggs, the stops near the parks and forests spawn a shitton of bugs and grass Pokemon and a lot of 10km Pinsir eggs, the one random neighbourhood near me that has the occasional Aerodactyl spawn every couple weeks gave me several fossil 10km eggs, etc.

For me, there's a patttern, and it's definitely related to the spawns nearby.

I only have a couple hundred eggs recorded, and I never thought to record the stop the egg originated from before, so most of my egg hatching log is worthless and anecdotal at best, but given what other people have done and what little they uncovered from their botting and scanning data seems to fit my theory. If I didn't want to pay the wannabe jews on r/pogodev a subscription fee to give me access to the reverse-engineered API because I don't want to put in the effort myself, I might have made a bot army to support/reject my theory but at this point, I can only rely on other sources for data.

I can't explain your two stops but without a controlled study with more data, it's hard to say one way or the other.

I've definitely noticed patterns in 5km eggs and 2kms to a lesser degree, but 10kms seem to be completely whack.
My most common 10km hatches were Scyther (6), Onix (6), Jynx (4 +2 smoochums, one pre-event) but I haven't noticed any pattern there at all. They just seem to hatch commonly from these.

That's the problem. Monte-Carlo methods only work if you have enough data for the resolution you're trying to inductively figure out, but I have a couple hundred eggs total max with no origin stop data because I didn't think it mattered then. I need thousands of eggs plus a complete catalog+scan of all spawn points within a 200m or so radius of the Pokestop over several weeks in order to be able to support/disprove the theory and/or maybe have a shot at finding a relationship. The Reddit biome link I posted links to only a couple studies and those aren't even that great and have a lot of selection bias, except for like the Ann Arbor guy who noted over a million spawns but maybe he has bias too because I didn't read all of that one yet.

And short of either autistically spinning one stop for a few weeks like the silphroad guys, or just dumping coins into a few hundred incubators, I can't do the same myself. I've walked almost 1500 Niantic kilometers but I only have like 300-ish eggs total and I've been playing since the summer. I've hatched a little over twenty 10km eggs. 2 were fossils, most were Pinsirs and shit, and the rest were Magmars and Electabuzzes and other 10km shitmons that spawn in my area. I can't generate the data even if I wanted to.

I have similar stats (1448 niantic kilometers walked, 444 eggs hatched including about forty 10kms). I agree that we'd have to record about a hundred times more shit to call it proper research, but from my recent observation I'm leaning towards:
pokestop spin > egg tier roll > non-nest spawn data applies to decide species (only relevant to the rolled egg tier)
rather than
pokestop spin > non-nest spawn data applies to decide species (which decides egg tier)

the randomness of my 10kms could be explained by the fact that 10km mons almost never spawn in the wild in my area
