There are two different types of files:
1. The human files are a single package containing 3d models, textures, and animations.
2. The Pokemon files are a collection of files containing a 3d model, 2 textures, and 3 sets of animations. These are specified in the readme file from the mega.nz download

Opening a file with File > Open will open the full thing for human files, or just that one aspect you select for pokemon files. If you want to add more aspects or parts, you use the individual import buttons in the different sections (which show up when you've opened something already)

Only open the .bin files for the pokemon models and the .cm files for the human ones. You don't need to bother with the .smd or .tga files.

It's just the way the animation skeletons are. The part of a human model for "top of head" maps to the Pokemon model's "face". Probably because humans stand pretty much straight upright, and a lot of Pokemon are hunched over or have rounded backs.

I'm trying the elemental monkeys, they are absolutely easy to slap on humans, Simisage is the most based ones for poses and Simisear is the worst, no wonder why it was voted the least.

They "okay" thumbs up is also one of Blue/Green's base animations.

Well you have to draw it on but thankfully the colors are easy, typically just get the lightest and darkest skin colors and paint with a hard brush and 20 or 30 opacity and it'll look similar.

It helps to actually be good at art, someone's bound to be.
