I've hatched one Grimer in my time, CP690 10/14/11 are the IVs, I only just caught my first wild Grimer today and it's shit. I've played since release and have only got these two now I want a decent Muk but don't know how long it will be before I find/hatch a better Grimer....what would you do? I have 53 candies for him now because alldatwalking.

I also want to do new evos while this event is going on with a lucky egg for max xp...halp.

Tested it in combat against a 2.3k Snorlax and it turned into a 2.8k one, so it seems like it retains its own level+IVs and scales the opponent's stats accordingly.
I'm gonna use this nigga vs. Dragon Breath Dragonites.
The only thing that's bugging me is that it appears to have some sort of forced delay every 3 or so attacks, dunno what's that all about.

If we were training here this would ensure I'd get 500 a mon. Say same 4 defenders. Use ditto and 5 sub 1300 magnetons, would it not matter that ditto turned into a 2700 Lapras? Would I still get 2000 (4x500) prestige? Ie., does it count dittos cp when it entered at 500 or whatever it becomes?

After 6 hours of straight walking in the freezing cold, I finally found a combo of stable and unstable gyms to collect 11 gyms. I could've stopped at 10 but I felt extra confident and went for the eleventh mainly because it was only two blocks away from the last one. Too close though, right after collecting, a pair of gyms in a local park immediately got taken down so I got lucky.

I guess this means I won.

I think the fact that double dust affects the Defender Bonus makes double dust events > double candy events.

It's good for farming between 8th and 10th st. They have two quads on these medians but you can chill in front of stores. Lures are up at the quads all the way from 4-6 pm to 2-4 am. Rare hunting has been slow this event since the guy running the twitter feed is farming exp but it should be back once they crack the API again.

Not sure how it measures up to Balboa park or other hotspots but it's where I've done all my lvl 32+ leveling and all I need is 500k today to hit 39.

What color lures did you buy? If you used purple then they only work if there are spawn spots near by. Next time buy the Emerald ones, they're your best bang for the buck. They only sell them on Thursdays though. Worth 150 coins. My last 2 got me a Snorlax and Lapras

I live on campus and there are 5 gyms on school grounds and one that's close enough to be considered on campus. Gyms still change hands fairly regularly, except for the period where it was easier to train, then each team had at least one gym for about a week which was nice.
I haven't personally met too many people who play at school, but occasionally my gf and I will play together. And we always play while walking anywhere, even short walks, just for the egg distance.

I have a gym like that, it's in a park and next to it is the medschool dorm. Med studs are all red, keeping the gym in the park red like autistic 6 year olds. Park is super easy to drive through and comfy to park in it. I usually take the gym after work and put a Seel or Shellder that I'd trash anyway. Well it finally happened folks,after almost 2 months my local lvl 10 gym has finally fell to the red army while iv been away on holiday since the last update come to pass.
The lineup is all over the place since I last saw it and has change from a lvl7 when I got back to a lvl3 pimple just 1 hour after and only spoofers are doing it since no one can play at that church without the cops getting called on them at such a hour.

Who's ready for Gen 2?

I'm level 33 and I just can't find a justification to play this game anymore, like going out of my way to actually play it instead just something you do while waiting somewhere or doing some other stuff.

If I walk another 9 km with my grimer I will have completed my regional dex.

I have like 15 mons between 2500 and 3000 cp. I've been owning 15+ plus gyms for the past two months everyday and I only lose like one per week.


Why should I keep playing until new gen comes out? The payoff just isn't there, it doesn't matter if you're vapo is at 2800 cp or at 3300 cp. The exp required from level 34 to the higher level is just too much work for not enough reward.

Well. It's more fun this way.
When i joined Instinct I was prepared for trouble. Still I manage to hold gyms even if just for a few days.
The problem with Instinct is lack of dedication. They mostly aren't aware of what they can actually accomplish if they'd try.
None of my Instinct friends bother with solo attacking 5+ gyms, and they never train. Even discourage myself from training when we are together.

I know a few people who never got the game because all they wanted to do was battle friends, collecting mons without battling friends wasn't interesting to them at all. It's the first thing people tend to ask when told about the game

I'm not against pvp. But pvp with screen tapping is not good. Also you will dodge 100% cuz you can see your opponent tapping his screen.

that's retarded, there's lag, move animation etc, you're better off waiting for the yellow flash

Tapping is fine, the biggest part is switching which should have a cooldown.
