Under Disney's tenure, the dub has the possibility of:

A) Longer openings, no more 15 cut second shit (Disney currently allows Yokai Watch to air the full unaltered 1:30 min OP)

B) Will premiere new episodes in glorious primetime like it currently does in nippon instead of in the morning, allowing for greater exposure

C) Disney will market it with actual promos and advertising, perhaps even for individual episodes/arcs

D) could air next to Yokai Watch wherein both shows doubly benefit each other by sharing much of the same audience (people who watch Yokai will want to watch Pokemon and vice versa)

E) More reruns. Period. Yokai Watch is currenrtly aired every weekday.

None of these require the dub actually improving in quality, they are all simple, easy quality of life things that Disney can do on their own end to give greater exposure to the show internationally.

I gotta admit, one major reason I still keep tabs on the anime is because of Team Rocket. I actually like the fact that the organization as a whole is still kicking in the animeverse, but ever since the cancelled Plasma vs Rocket special I've been vainly hoping that we get to see the entire organization appear again, taking on the new evil team of the current Gen.

Anyways, I guess I'll have to settle with how the TRio will react to Team Skull, Aether Foundation, UB's, and especially Lusamine. In the final episode of the Plasma arc, they commented on Ghetsis being too megalomaniacal even for them. So I can't wait to see what they'll think of her.

To be fair, since Gen 5 they're now being sent to new regions based on Giovanni's orders. Though now that I think about, in universe it makes sense since back in Gen 4 the TRio lied to Giovanni that it was them who singlehandedly defeated Team Galactic.

When you look at it Gio finally found a use for them: Going off to new regions, weeding out and "eliminating" potential rival evil teams, allowing the rest of TR to move in unapposed.
Still, like BW I hope Giovanni makes an appearance. The writers were on to something good when they finally got him off his ass.

Seeing as how John Loeffler stayed from Kanto all the way to Unova, I doubt Goldfarb is going anywhere unless something happens to him or the show changes Executive Producers. He probably should change his approach for this show, or at least use more game music.

Hoenn was pretty much the golden age of the show as a whole, and I think too many folks that made that era great have moved on to get back to that standard.

Man, I just don't like Goldfarb, his music seems so unfitting to me in the background (like when there's a serious scene, he plays some cheerful stuff, and when it's comedic, he tries to make it sound based) and to know he's probably going to be around as long as Loeffler was just blows for me. What gets me is he was writing since Season 5 and he was not even close to as bad as he has been since Season 9 with the script...is it the studio change that caused him to lose it or something.
