Do you only battle Red, Blue, Cynthia, etc in the battle tree in a Maison/frontier setting, or do you battle them elsewhere?

When you first enter the battle tree you have a choice between fighting either Red or Blue in a single battle.

I'm using him and he's fine as far as I can see, as long as someone doesn't have Earthquake coverage. His Ice attacks are generally pretty shit unfortunately, he only gets one physical without Move Relearner. Also Blizzard but his SpeA is abysmal.

i just beat the first trial. i have a couple questions for when i get farther in the game

since i am battling a lot of pokemon they are getting EVs i dont want, will there be a way to erase them all and train them like in x/y?

does pokemon refresh ever get upgraded with mini games? seems like a step down from x/y.

Breeding with a perfect ditto is a million times faster and HT doesn't improve the I.V, it just sets a flag to raise the stats so it doesn't make future breeding any easier.

For those curious, if true this means the following are now legal:

Of course single-gender and genderless Pokémon still get cucked out of their HAs with HGSS balls but at least the ones found in the wild can be bred with other balls now. It's not perfect but it's a step in the right direction.

Bounsweet and steenee aren't great, but they should be good enough to progress with. Make sure you get a bounsweet with oblivious so tsareena can get her signature ability

So, yesterday I accidentally deleted my save, right before taking on the elite 4.

After trying and failing to find a save that was around the same place, I resolved to just recreate my old team with PKHex and speedrun my way back to where I was.

In the end, I managed to make it from the start of the game to the elite 4 in 6 hours and 7 minutes. Flying through the game at that speed was one of the most surreal experiences I've ever had playing a game.

Well, I had repels going non-stop, and I avoided nearly every trainer in the game.

So that 6 hours was divided between the mandatory battles, moving from place to place, and mashing through cutscenes.

All the battles were over in a few turns because I was overleveled, and I used stoutland as much as possible while moving around.

So pretty much, an Ultra Wormhole gets ripped open and Lunala gets sent to one version of our universe while Solgaleo is sent to the other. Eventually the the "union" or mating of the two beasts made an "heir" which would be Cosmog. So the male and female of a split evolution from another universe made a baby and left it in the Tapu's care.

You can fight Ilima, Lana, and Kiawe/Mallow after beating their respective Kahunas. Kiawe and Mallow are version exclusive. Sophocles is a champion challenger, and fairy girl is a fight somewhere.
Elite 4 update their teams to 63 postgame. Pokemon stay the same, but some of their movesets are changed.
