I just play Seismitoad-EX/Musharna with Karen teched in or run Trevenant BREAK.dek when it come sto Standard, that's usually enough to get Night Marchers to throw in the towel before the match even begins.

As someone who quit around roaring skies what should I build to get back into the game? I have my shaymin ex before they got crazy expensive, a few sr vs seekers and older trainers like N and skyla from BW era I can use.

Best decks I have right now are mega gardevour and mega manectric/yvetal. Semi close to mega rayquaza but I quit before then

I need help.
I recently took part in an expanded tournament and came first netting me a good few packs.

I'm intending on building a m-ray cray cray deck and i'm going to use the packs to help with that.

However whenever I try to create a trade it doesn't show my packs as an option to offer up, what's going on?
And yes they are tradeable.

assuming you didn't run aromatisse, you can practically just throw in 1 SS mgard and the deck is pretty good in standard

Night march is the most consistent deck to fuck me up. Only counter I know is to strike ASAP but that's pretty much most of my strategy, but they're not common enough for me to morph my deck to focus on them.

Usually they're set up before their first turn, which is a bit frustrating but like I said I don't run into those decks often.

Used to have problems with Mewtwos (damage change ones) but Mega Gardevoir (Despair Ray) one shots it and those are more common.

Manectric is good in expanded with garb, it does well against quite a few of the best decks in expanded right now.

If you have a gard deck then just upgrade it to despair ray gard. It runs more aggressively though and you need 3-4 shaymins to make it work alongside MAYBE a dragonite EX.

It's honestly so fun to play night march online though, especially since most online shitters don't bother to play around it.

It's so fucking funny, and the deck itself has so many variants that it's interesting. I'm running a variant with Maxies right now with Gallade which is actually pretty interesting. It's all about options.

I'm more of a blastoise/keldeo or Vir/Gen player myself, I own both those decks physical. Might get a Night March physical soon though.

That intimidation factor does shut some people down from the get go. I've had a few people instantly quit if I had an EX played the first turn. It's also frustrating working toward some dailies, especially those that are do X damage and knock out X cards when a lot of people quit once you get a sweeper set up.

Is there some unwritten rule that makes it so I can't scoop Primal Groudon off of my opponents bench? I played Lysandre twice and was not able to touch the thing, so my opponent had free turns to just power it up.

The only cards he had in play were pic related, Carbink and Groudon.

It's ok. Some people like running 1 of it in Expanded since you can search it out via Jirachi EX.

But it's not powerful for a lot of reasons.

It relies on your opponent having items, and if your opponent had fewer than three you would have been better off playing a Tierno.

Even if you do hit a lot of items, a single Sycamore or N or Shaymin or etc lets them recover pretty immediately, making it more of an annoyance than an actual power play.

And regardless of all of the above, playing a Ghetsis means you're NOT playing a Sycamore, N, Skyla, Wally, or any other Supporter that turn. Is making your opponent discard some minor cards and drawing a few better than refreshing your whole hand? Getting that T1 Trev? Searching for an important puzzle piece?

It's just an ok card. Much better than jokes like Psychic's Third Eye, but not amazing.

It's actually a special card, because Feather Dance is one of the few boosting attacks that doesn't specify "active Pokemon".

So if you use Mew-EX to copy Feather Dance, then use an attack like Spinda's, you'll be doing 90 damage to each of your opponent's Pokemon every other turn.

Although Haxorus might be better considering it boosts by 100...

Steaming mad deals the number of damage counters on Machamp times 20.

"fun to pilot" is relative. You'll end up playing a million cards to do the same damage that a Mewtwo will do with 3. You instalose to scizor and anyone running parallel city.

You have several options.

-Hex is the easy way out.
-Hawlucha gets you a swap to bench
-Keep an unevolved Garde on bench if you anticipate a Gira, or just don't evolve your starter if you expect or see it coming.

I have bought 2 standard decks and 2 expanded decks as of now. More specialized in expanded due to the Boston area local leagues mainly being expanded.
No plan to go to regionals as this is my first year playing but I made a friend who drives to them so I might tag along on a few.

Boosters are gambling cards, you're better off buying singles in the long run since you are guaranteed to get what you need.

Honestly my best advice if you're new is get the keldeo v rayquaza set as that gets you a lot of staples and will also give you an idea of how a half decent deck is made.
From there research a bit and play local league or online until you can make a good deck.
