No, but Hidden Power will not change once you up the stats, so getting the HP you want is easier than ever, and you can still have Max IV's.

Got a hold of a Alolan Vulpix today, and somehow the demand for it on the GTS is INSANE.
You can search any given rare Pokemon and if you are lucky there will be 4-5 entries, and at least one or two of those will always be Vulpix. These are worth gold right now.

I bred a full box of them and got a bunch of really hard to get stuff that I couldn't be bothered with hunting myself. These games have some pain in the ass rare wild Pokeon a lot of the time.
I distributed the 15 or so leftovers in wonder trade, and the reason I'm quoting that post is that all I got were literally Chinese route 1 mon. Pretty funny indeed.
