>The Strongest Mega Battle! Greninja VS Mega Charizard!!
>aerial ace BTFO sceptile this much
I know it's SE but literally mega power up
Confirmed to have
Faggot is going to be good in the league. But I wonder what asspull they will do to make Ash lose.
as if it wasn't obvious enough
final battle is mega sceptile vs greninja
they both are in the ground from a huge explosion, they both try to stand but greninja faints first, the referee announces the winner and sceptile faints too
yeah, I was thinking the same thing
it's hard to tell what it's doing because of the water. I had to see it again frame by frame to see what happened
the water is temporal though, neither ash nor greninja know that it's supposed to turn into a giant water shuriken that greninja carries on its back
>Greninja is a shit Sheik, Charizard is mediocre but viable, Mewtwo is a glass cannon minus the cannon, and jigglypuff is the worst in the game
Ayy lmao. Only the true mascots prevail.
That doesn't mean Shota will win though. His purpose is to give Ash a good fight. It's much like Clemont leaving for a while, knowing he will lose to Ash regardless so he trained to make sure he could give his bro a good, satisfying fight.
>Ash never evolved any of his water starters in previous regions
That was more of an observation than a trend.
The real "trend" was Ash having at least one cute Pokemon that doesn't evolve because its evolutions are less cute and thus less marketable. The cutest thing Ash had was usually his Water-type.
Froakie was never cute to begin with, so they didn't have to worry about that.
But what's the point? If Shota isn't shown gaining experience by winning at least one battle against Ash, he will be the most pointless rival to ever exist. And I doubt the Pokémon Company hates Sceptile. He was able to make it into Pokken Tournament, after all.
The point is that he gave Ash an exhilarating match that was quite close. It doesn't matter if he lost.
The final match could be Ash-Greninja vs Mega-Sceptile with a near-finish but ultimately Ash would win.
And then because synchro Ash would lose to his next match because he is completely exhausted and injured, etc.
If it was a mega they would have said that immediately, there is absolutely zero reason to keep that as a secret now that we know about the mechanic. It's definitely something else, maybe even stronger than a mega, who knows.
But I dunno how people could miss it.
Then again I guess it's just me since I raised my head when people said he used Aerial Ace when he clearly used Water Shuriken to strike M Sceptile.
Wasn't the title just a reference to Alan's special episodes? "The strongest mega evolution" so a battle with him will be "The strongest mega battle" since Ash is battling a mega. Doesn't necessarily mean Ashninja is a mega even though it's supposedly mega tier.
>Mewtwo is a glass cannon minus the cannon
Not really, the damage and knockback Mewtwo does is pretty good.
Doesn't help with how fucking light he is though.
Seriously, why the fuck is he so light?
