A) it's not free-to-play, and

I dont mind the rough idea of having to train up a team.. in fact, I think that's a potentially fun idea especially if they added some sort of co-op aspect where you could train pokemon while casually playing with a friend , but with IV's unnecessarily clogging up the process, and no way to easily and quickly reverse/change natures and EV's, it becomes a huge chore. This is compounded by the fact that, for every member on a desired team, youll likely be trying out 4-5 different variants of the same pokemon if youre serious about getting good. Not to mention, switching out pokemon altgoether, or just straight making an entirely new team.

It's very clearly a result of the devs not intending for this sort of play to occur, but going with the flow once it caught on with players without thoroughly revising how it's done.

PGroudon and Xerneas are the most standar since they're the most threatening.
MFug only works in dedicated teams that are able to exploit Delta Stream at its best, but is not that strong since its best attacks are single target and 105/100/100 uninvested Bulk isn't something THAT great.

gen v is the best gen

I only play pokemon for the singleplayer, I don't breed or play competitively. The fun I get from playing pokemon is just barely winning the important fights (losing 2-3 times is alright too), the world lore, the characters, and the pokegirls. I hate IVs cause its essentially a random element to the game that can increase or decrease the difficulty depending on the RNG. I hate winning fights by a landslide or losing enough so that I'm forced to grind. I like to imagine my character talking in game. I want to snuggle with Rosa. I've tried getting into PMD but the battle system just doesn't do it for me. I like linear games because it gives more direction to a game and get triggered when people want to sacrifice things like story and well written characters just so they can have more freedom. I want to hold Rosa. Lucario is my favorite pokemon and Cynthia is my favorite champion (I'm ok with her being in every game, I want to see her Gen VI model). X/Y had so many missed opportunities with the story and characters, I hope XZ/YZ will be better. I want sequels, not rehashes. I want to play with Rosa's hair donuts.

I think Knock off is just rediculous. Why is it 65 BP and gets a 50% boost when knocking of an item, making it 97,5 BP? This is a move that can do almost 100 BP AND potentualy cripple any opponent that isn't holding a mega stone. Sure, it only does bonus damage once on each pokemon, but it that doesn't really hinder it that much. It's a cheap move that almost any pokemon on your team is not gonna appreciate getting hit by. But the worst thing is almost EVERY physical attacker can learn it.

Also scald is bullshit and I think you all know why.

I am really hopeful for this entire year for pokemon.

I realised recently that GSC kinda suck and HGSS improves on them immensely but still fails to address their biggest problem.

I realise that both ORAS and XY are really mediocre but fairies, megas and the streamlined online are enough to carry Gen 6 and make it good when we end up looking back at it. I think Z can fix XY in the way that Pt utterly saved DP (which are the worst Pkmn games of all time)
