Would you leave this life to live in the Pokemon world?
You can't take anything with you except the clothes you are currently wearing. You'll be given one Pokeball and 200 P once you arrive.
>Start in SInnoh
>Catch a Starly.
Earth is the Pokémon World just with better technology and supernatural intelligence creatures known as Pokémon.
Would we be good pokemon trainers? Throughout the games it's implied not many can just get a Pokemon to listen and react so seamlessly, then imagine mananging 6 or more, and then remember that there are different types with different needs and quirks. Not wonder trainers tend to stick to a certain amount with similarly themed pokemon. You're playing someone who is almost gifted because they're a character seperate from you at the end of the day. But if you were to wake up on Poke Earth tomorrow would you be as skilled?
If I remember correctly in Takeshi Shudo's novel about the pokemon world in Gen 1, apparently a lot of people try to become trainers and most fail at it.
it was apparently what happened with Ash's dad and why he never came back.
Depends, can I stay in contact with people I like?
I won't leave to a new world while all of my social links stay here.
I would be a shitty trainer anyway. My heart would melt the first time my Pokémon went to hospital.
I have a job I enjoy
I have a fiance whom I adore
I have a social circle and friends that I love
I have a family that makes me incredibly happy
And yet, and yet
I would still 100% say yes to this offer without the glimmer of a second thought.
Literally the only that sucks is having to be in the clothes I'm currently wearing.
But I guess I can buy new ones once I'm there, huh?
I never said that, just that it may not be as simple as the game makes it out to be and when making plans on what you'd do in the Pokemon world you have to bear in mind certain exploity stuff involving mass training certain Pokemon might be way harder in practice.
I would take the offer if i get to pick my starting region and am given a 24 hour notice before we chosen few set off from the world we shun, to the world in our dreams, to the world we all adore.
I know i will miss no one here, just as i know that we will disappear quietly into the night, hoping for a better, happier, life.
We are the forgotten sons and daughters of earth, and we like it that way.
>tfw you get to the lab and the prof tells you the starter poke is part of a scholarship program he does with the government and the age cut off is 18 y.o.
>tfw you don't qualify for a mon because you are 27
>tfw he is also out of pokedexes
Might still risk it to hit rock bottom meet that one pokemon that sees your potential as a trainer and willing to ride with you, then rise from rags to riches.
i also feel like there are not that many people on the islands and lands where pokemon takes place
if it were the same population density as earth, wouldn't the pokemon training market as far as sponsorships and gym enrollment be also scarce?
It could be a sort of gameplay and lore separation thing. Just like in Elder Scrolls the cities and locations in lore are said to be bigger, even the devs say this, but you're given a condensed version with all the important bits. It might be a similar case with only parts relevant to the game (pokemon) appearing to the player character and the player. I can't prove that of course, but I do know regular animals are a thing in pokemon. From Gen 1 dex entries that still aren't retconned, to dialogue that mentions them. Yet we never see any out in the wild, and that's because it's not relevant to the game. That's the only thing supporting my hypothesis.
>certain exploity stuff involving mass training certain Pokemon might be way harder in practice.
I'd imagine that to be the realistic incentive behind training at a Gym and eventually striving to own your own.
yeah as long as they have pot in the pokemon world it wouldn't be a problem but I would probably still go anyways if pot doesn't exist in the pokemon world but if it doesn't then maybe I'll just snort some slugma ash
go to hoenn
fuck her hard
fuck the trick master too...in my secret base inside of one of the tents he rewards you with
if i get to bring a friend of mine with me, we get to be 10 years old, we don't age and the pokemon world isn't as boring as it looks like in the games (meaning i can actually stay at home all day playing videogames instead of just looking at it) and everything actually works properly (meaning i don't get crazy after a while because the most interesting thing i can do is running around trying to hatch some useless eggs and my body doesn't require stuff that i can't have or something), then maybe.
The Pokemon World its never happening because this :^]
> you find an Eevee
> you capture it
> you train it
> you care for it
> he loves you for that
> he does his best for you
> but no matter how much he tries he keeps losing
> no matter how hard he trains he still loses
> you eventually discover
he has shitty genes
You know most of you would still be losers if you lived in the pokemon world.
You would probably sit in your mums basements instead of leaving the house because getting up to catch pokemon requires effort.
