Just have an icy cave that's cold cuz some bs like Regice is in it, and bam you get ice Pokemon in an Egypt theme place. Have the river filled with water Pokemon, delta area have grass and other moms, and ghosts/ psychics in the ruins/ pyramids.

See, I think that Numel resembles a camel decently enough. Camerupt on the other hand lacks the long neck and legs like that Fakemon, so instead it resembles a strange cow/hippo with two rocky tumors growing out of its back.
