What are the odds Farfetch'd would simply get fat as hell with 2 leeks and feathers capable of naturally producing spices?
Considering GameFreak made Porygon's final form a subtle joke about its episode giving thousands of children seizures I don't think it's too unlikely.
What if Farfetchd's stats are all reduced to base one (bar hp), so it's got virtually no bulk or speed, but all of its attacks that make contact are guaranteed OHKOs ? It couldn't do anything to any pokémon with an attacking move, but it could break stuff like Chansey alright
This is the stupidest idea I've ever had but I want to see smarter and more autistic people discuss it
It should bulk up. Become the next Mawile. Maybe a guaranteed crit ability. Some speed, better moves, bit more attack, and maybe some special attack, and it could be the next big thing!
Farfetch'd is suppose to be a living joke. It's a rare duck Pokemon with nothing special about it whatsoever that carries around a leek and its entries state it's endangered from being eaten too much.
At most its Mega should have some crazy gimmicky ability.
You say that like Porygon-Z has no use at all. It has insane special attack and insane coverage to work from. I mean, Eviolite 2 is really good, but don't act like Z was pointless before gen 5
Sp. Atk: 15 (-43)
Sp. Def: 62
Speed: 103 (+43)
Flying/Dark (Fuck this, Knock off spam is a must)
Ability : Aerilate
here, this is the only way to make it good.
>Defiant first in defogs or inti users
could be actually ok.
Leaf Blade/Swords Dance/Protect
>it needs (insert item, move, ability) to be relevant
Top fucking kek what a shitmon
>0 SpA Rotom-W Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 240 SpD Eviolite Rhydon: 420-496 (101.4 - 119.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO
>0 SpA Rotom-W Hydro Pump vs. 252 HP / 240 SpD Solid Rock Rhyperior: 426-504 (98.1 - 116.1%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO
In this case it's still pretty much dead, but Rhyperior takes objectively less damage than Eviolite Rhydon. And hits harder.
And has the same speed.
>Flygon gets a Mega
>not Bug/Dragon, still Ground/Dragon with Levitate
>+20 to all stats
But that hardly compares to Chansey's Lucky Punch.
I think Mega-Flygon would probably get something like 80/120/90/120/90/130 or take a little from SpAtk into Atk.
Maybe the mods don't ban people based on maymays? Crazy, I know.
>GF didn't give Charizard a mega with contrary to pay homage to Gen I
>Contrary overheat will never be a thing.
>Pinsir didnt need a Mega
>Altaria didnt need a Mega
>Beedrill didnt need a Mega
>Sableye didnt need a Mega
>Mawile didnt need a Mega
>Houndoom didnt need a Mega
>Aerodactyl didnt need a Mega
>Manectric didnt need a Mega
Mawile and Sableye DIDN'T need megas. They were single stage cutemons and counterparts with simple designs and sub 400 bsts. Both their megas are minmaxed to absolute shit because of this when ordinary evolutions would have sufficed perfectly.
Wait, what? I've thought for years since Leftovers was an item you literally find just lying around while Shell Bell is an item you actually have to make the recovery would obviously be superior. It seriously depends on damage output?
Every good Mega design greatly expands on the original and compliments it while showing it visibly becoming more powerful. This shit in particular does neither. I pity Sableye for essentially getting a minute of editing in Paint.
>Dragonite can mega evolve if there's another Dragonite in party
Easy. I have a mental list saved just for this argument.
Mega Charizard Y
All designs that expand on the original and make them look more powerful than ever without losing their roots. Mawile and Gallade are more simplistic, but it still holds true.
