Thanks. They're pretty easy to make. All you have to do is fit a .png to a dimension which is a multiple of 64 (64x64, 64x128, etc), then use GYTB to install them.

That looks way more difficult than I had originally planned... I'll take other requests and work on that on the side because it will take me time and my model's deforms to be perfect before I even lay anything like that over it.

The legs also look completely fine. As the 3D modelling anons have proven, the bottom half of the legs do curve at the end, as well.

I was referring to the one with the Victorian dress. The upper arm is as thin as a strand of hair.
Now that I look at it, the Victorian dress pic does have a BEND to the legs, but still no CURVATURE.
By curvature, I mean a thickening going downwards. Look at the Pokken model, the legs get thicker as they get closer to the "feet".

Ah, I see what you mean, but I actually dislike how the legs get thicker near the bottom of Gardevoir's legs in the Pokken depiction.
Pokken is the only time Gardevoir is depicted like that as well, all other times the legs get thinner to the ends, which is what I prefer.

Sally draws the upper arms at about 1/3 the thickness of the eyes. The sprite has the upper arms about 1/2 to 3/4 the thickness of the eyes.
Measuring by eye, of course, but it still is a noticeable difference when compared to other parts of the bodies

He doesn't do my favorite depiction of Gardevoir, and I do consider the skinny arms a flaw, but I don't think it's that bad. After all, Gardevoir's upper arms are kinda thin to begin with

So you should probably modify the model by hand to make it have
3D nipples and a vaginal entrance, then worry about giving them textures. Who would want a 2D image of a nipple on a 3D bewb?

Shit, I somehow forgot how to do it after making a second bone. The second bone doesn't have a corresponding vertex group. The first one does somehow. How the fuck?
1. Go to weight paint mode and select the vertex group.
2. click the black arrow below the + and -.
3. Select copy.
4. lock the current vertex group
5. Select the newly created one and click mirror vertex group ( topology)
6. Rename the new vertex group to the same name as the bone you want to control it.

3d anon from last night here. Had some spare time this morning and decided to make some preliminary textures for the head. All pics are direct screen-grabs and haven't been rendered or anything of the like. Next time I work on the model, I'll go more in-depth with the textures and paint some normal maps. I also intend to play around with modeling some working internals, so we'll see how that goes.
The model itself is 90% made from scratch. The hands and part of the "hair" are the only parts I borrowed from the official model, and even those I heavily modified. The body, face, legs, etc are all original content.
Note that they eyes and mouth textures do have transparencies, but they don't show because they're screen grabs.

I don't have SFW and have never used any of Valve's animation tools. I don't even know where to begin with the process. I mainly work with pre-rendered animations. I plan on sticking this model into Unity though; it's part of the project I was talking about.

You should remove the interior parts the mouth and make then have alpha/translucent. Then you actually have movable eye pupils of higher quality and an actual mouth underneath. It looks better overall.

I recommend you get into Blender Cycles, takes longer to render but looks nicer.
I also recommend for the lady bits you should copy paste them from another model. There is a Gardevoir with lady bits on the 8ch thread so you can download it and copy that part of the mesh onto yours.

Looks wonderful so far, only flaw I see is some weird clipping below the ears near the hair.
This is what i used. It is long and covers a lot.
But really for basic Cycles rendering it is some simple nodes and lights, not that hard.
I recommend making it so yo can switch between both modes because Blender Render is quicker to render things like animations.
Actually that 8ch Gardevoir model might have Cycles ready to go in it so take a look.
It would would take my toaster about a day to render a typical 100 frame animation.
Really, it took about the same time as blender render for me.
I do have a water guzzling behemoth, though.

It depends on how complex do you want your render to be. Cycles uses a physical light ray simulator to render frames. With fewer rays, you'll have a more sketchy result with less time.

Worked on some of Gardevoir's naughty bits tonight. Turned out pretty nicely. They are functional and have internal models. The pink was haphazardly drawn in as I was estimating what should be pink and what shouldn't. Tomorrow I'll sit down and texture the groin as well as paint some normal maps for the rest of the model.
All I would change is making a bit puffier. She's petite, but she's not *that* petite.
Where the green and white meet, the lines on the hair, certain parts of the nipples, and some detail in the groin region.
From the normal maps, I'll bake some AO maps from them and multiple the AO into the texture or just integrate it into my Unity material. I'm looking forward to using PBR mats in Unity.

I'm still up in the air about how to do the mouth. Textures are 1000% easier than a rigged mouth, but I'm afraid it won't look nice or will look creepy as hell.
Here's a short list of what I have to do:
I have a few variations of gowns sitting on my hdd from a project I did a while ago, so that won't take long. Once I get a base texture, I'd like to make alternative skins such as shiny, one with lingerie, etc.
It's a process, and it takes a while when you're by yourself. I still need to model the environments too.
I agree. A mouth would be incredibly tricky to get to look nice. There's so much that goes into it. Jaws, teeth, tongue, cheeks, lips. It's all a huge clusterfuck modelwise. I tried modeling a mouth once. I'll never try again.
You should stick with textures, but maybe create a handful of lewd mouth textures.
This is the thing that kills it. Gardevoir really don't have lips, and without lips a mouth just looks like a slit which is creepy.
Could it be done? Probably, but I'm not sure if it's worth my time.
Also its nonexistent chin would make rigging up a movable jaw look awkward as all fuck. And whether you gave it teeth or no teeth, it would probably look uncanny either way.
It think the only way you could make it work would be to copy the simple mouths of the trainer models.
A good trick i use to take advantage of an interior model mouth but without using lips is remove the interior of the mouth part of the mouth textures and fill them with alpha. That way you can have an open mouth texture look into an actual modeled mouth. I do the same thing with the eyes so I can actually move the pupils to look at a different thing.
Mine is done lazily but it could be done way better.
If executed properly, I could see it working quite well. Besides, there doesn't always have to be an alpha.

However, I would still be plagued by that discomfort in my gut knowing what horror lies behind that mask.
Other than the inherent awkwardness of having a higher polygon density than the rest of the model, it looks alright.
Only thing I would suggest is tweaking the thigh gap to make it more accessible.

Also how do I correct this? I stitched together the upper and lower halves after snipping away the dress. But the new faces don't have the texture mapped properly.
I think you may be right. The dress was never that intrusive to begin with. Kirlia's really weird the more I analyze this model. Did you know half the length of her leg is the foot and toe bone?
Fun facts about Kirlia's armature:
The dress contains a modest 12 bones total.
Its hair flaps have 2 bones each.
Kirlia has no shoulders.
Kirlia has elbows and wrists.
Thought the model has two fingers, the rig only has one.
The foot is significantly longer than the shin, like a rabbit's.
Its core is fundamentally the same as Gardevoir's (origin, waist, hips, spine1, spine2, neck, head)
When I played with Solrock a while back, I discovered that despite have no moving parts at all, it still had 6 bones. Its waist spins it around its center, and its origin translates the entire model. The other bones do nothing as far as I could tell.

How hard is it to split the joint so that you can animate each finger individually? I haven't modelled/animated anything, so apologies if it's a stupid question.
The better they are at modelling/animating, the better the waifu simulators will be when VR comes out.
Not difficult. They ARE separate fingers. All that would need to be done is make a second bone, then split the weights.
As much as I'm a bit sick of it as well, people are actually making OC with them, and it's providing a good amount of discussion as well.
