What's so bad about that? I like Pokémon and all, but it's starting to become a yearly series. I don't think that's good.

I'm fine with waiting several years. They stumbled a bit with XY and Hoenn actually looks worse on 3DS than it did on GBA with how square everything is.

To be fair, most of the yearly releases are remasters or remakes. They were able to work on Black and White for more than a year, because Platinum and HeartGold/SoulSilver didn't take that many resources from the company. Even Black and White 2 largely used assets from Black and White, allowing them to focus resources on X and Y.

Gen 4 was alright. Gen 5 blew it out the fucking water.
Gen 6 was fine on the Pokemon side but Kalos was abysmally boring.

I think it's considered an "abnormal Pokemon" and doesn't let you, kinda like Spiky-Eared Pichu. I could be totally wrong, however.
