I nickname all pokemon I want to wondertrade by their first evolution name. When people level them up, they still have their first evolution name. E.g. a gardevoir named Ralts or a Blastoise named Squirtle.

I play games in english but is not my first language and I still have problems with my short vocabulary, so coming up with clever wordplays and puns is a little difficult for me.

Normally if a pokemon's species has a name I really like I let them keep it, and then some other times I name some of my pokemon. They're simple and bad names but I can't do better.
