Which they throw out. An example being the Tysha stuff, or how they set up Theon's rescue at the end of season 3 and then completely blunder it in season 4 because they realized that doesn't happen in the books and there's no way they can make a good subplot out of it.

Does Masakado Katana in SMT have any sort of gimmick? I feel like it deals less and less damage the more I buff attack power, it ends up dealing 10 damage while Hiroko's weapon deals 200
