If you are constantly fighting then maybe Ardent and Redemption is the strongest, but depending on the champions on your team Redemption or even Mikaels can be more powerful for the fact that their heal power more powerful outside of combat and stronger on champions that don't autoattack as much.

If poke supports were strong then Mikaels would be strong
If engage supports were strong then redemption would be strong.

Jhin and Kled are known as one of the best champs riot have ever created. Tali and Camille have been and are Meta monsters and Ivern and Sol are generally liked and are pocket picks for many. If Kench and Ekko were 16 I would say theres no debate. Their character, act and gameplay for all the champs are unparalleled.

Nope. Not even close. Jhin is unarguably a success, no one will debate that. However A.Sol is a buggy mess that's crashed pro games and already gotten talks from Riot about getting a rework, that's bad, that's really really bad. Taliyah and Kled are both slow burners. They'll be accepted into the game given time, but nether were immediate smash successes and a lot of people still hate Taliyah. Ivern is niche at best, he was designed that way intentionally, his whole design podcast talks about making a character not a lot of people will like. Camillie is just ok, she's basically a modern take on the classic bruiser like Jarven, Renekton, or Wukong, she's probably one of the better ones from 2016 but each of the other champions has very dedicated fans that will argue against her.

2017 has been a disaster for releases though.
