Flood were akready brought back in spartan assaukt abd referenced in halo 4 across campaign and multiplayer.

343 abuses them all the time, but it's clear they don't want them back in the main games until at least the reclaimer saga is finished. There will be no flood in halo 6.

Halo AI has ptogressively gotten worse since 2. At first it was completely intentional. Dumbing them down after 2's at times ludicrous difgiculty sections was by design, but the process only continued until we reached Halo 4 which was so incredibly poorly scripted and pathed, that it wasn't unusual to see AI just standing still while you shot them.
Halo 5's AI makes slight improvements, so hopefully the trend has been reversed and will keep improving now.

Humans and forerunners being seperate was a thing done in 3... kinda. You have to pay close attention to notice it. It doesn't help that guilty spark straight up tells the player the opposite, meaning 90% of the playerbase thought they were the same species.
But getting back to the point: the seperate species thing was done in Halo 3, not later on. That being said, the 10,000 year war between forerunners and humanity was a 343 thing and was infinitely more retarded.
