Lawyer and IAA are a joke because they are supposed to derive their authority from an ever silent fax machine.

Most admins have an attitude that the minimal effort which is required of them is answering boinks and sorting stuff out at round end, but really the minimum effort should include at least acknowledging faxes so a potentially fun jobs isn't totally neutered.
Another problem with faxes is the bystander effect. There will be rounds with 8 admins on and multiple beautifully responded faxes will go totally unanswered. Someone should be designated as responsible for faxes for each duration of that round so they don't slip through the cracks.
