I've tried every single skill, and these are all the ones that make the discs come back. Most of them aren't too practical, but it makes the discs a nice backup, or just an amusing way to finish someone off. If you really want to know the most notable ones, here's a short list (I wanted to make a gigantic list of timecodes in the description, but Youtube said no):

3:29 - Death Slicer (Of course)
4:44 - Teleporting Vanishing Ball

Even after trying them all, I still have no clue what decides whether or not DDS works for them. I do know that not even one strike move worked, so they can go fuck themselves for making me try them all to learn that.

It's actually incredible, it makes the damn ball hit even without needing a break, and just looks so good.

It does basically require a heavy break for the setup to land it reliably though, since you have to toss the discs, then immediately hit with the ball's startup.

Currently, it's more about what character you want rather than which ones are the best. The SSJ4s are fantastic characters to start with, Vegeta specifically with his defensive bonuses but aren't the best leaders since they're specific color oriented.

Roes Black and Vegito Blue are leaders of Extreme and Super teams respectively.

SSJ4 Gogeta and the Physical Omega Shenron are amazing attackers but they currently don't have their leader skills. They're the most recently released.

Those are the notable ones I remember. That said, there are a ton of great characters in both banners. Just ask about your pulls that look good.

I was trying it out right now, I think it's perfectly fair. The damage is high, but 15K on a break is not unreasonable depending on your loadout.

Besides, you're entirely in control of how much damage you want to do, so if you want to stop at 10K ish it's easy to do so.

Usually at big releases they'll do an Elder Kai banner that gives you 10 for 50 stones

At the moment you get one for using 1000 stamina, you can get some in the shop for the green gem things and summoning on the AGL banner.

I was testing out fighting against Mighty Explosive Wave loops, the entire explosion is avoidable if you wait to vanish as late as possible, when they're mid animation for the explosion. This will allow you to punish freely. It's still an annoying, cheap use of the super, but it's not unbeatable.
