Tripps most damaging build has 3 stuns, a 4 second armor crack, a shock, and 25% movespeed

While Knosses pure damage build requires him to get 3 kills for +15%, LMB talent for another 25%, RMB talent for another 25%, E talent for another 25% and Q talent for another 25%

and he still does less dps than tripp, with no defensive talents taken

Tyto's whole idea is to be more mobile than other assassins. So in a situation where a tripp would get blown the fuck up for trying to kill someone, Tyto should be able to clean the kill and get out.

His overall dps is ass compared to Tripp no doubt but he's meant to be retardedly safe and uncatchable if you play it right.

The problem with playing Tyto in solo q is that if you are at a higher mmr at all, your teammates will be low mmr guaranteed just because of the shit way Motiga makes matchmaking work.

So there are no kills for you to clean as Tyto and you have to try to make everything happen yourself, which is just easier to do as Tripp.

In a completely fair match, Tyto can do his roll just fine. But don't expect to hard carry any solo q games the same way you can with Tripp or Wu as an assassin.

Eh, I think I'm done with this game. It was fun for a while, but the systems design is too much at odds with the basic mechanics.

Everything about the movement and combat encourages you to flow around and be confident, and everything about the systems design discourages that.

You have this fast and snappy movement system with lots of movement-centric abilities, and levels with platformer jumps that encourage you to take advantage of the environment. So your instinct is to do exactly that - use it to out-maneuver, dodge attacks, and be aggressive.

But you can't. You have to save all your stamina for running away whenever you get sneezed on, because tanks and healers can't help you (or themselves) and there's nothing more detrimental to your team than dying.

So you spend most of the game waiting around. Waiting for your health and stamina to regen. Waiting for the enemies to give you an opening. Waiting for Rampage timers. Waiting for your team to respawn. Hell, waiting for your own spawns.

And once I got to high ELO and fully understood the game mode, I realized that there's just nothing there. No depth, no special strategies, no skill ceiling to shoot for. It's all just "die less than the enemy team." Nothing else really matters.

It all just feels unfinished. Like they never finished tuning the TTK, distinguishing the roles, and designing the game mode. I honestly think there should be PvE creeps like in most MOBAs. It's really missing something.

I actually like that it discourages dying, since I'm naturally a cautious person, so it's like the game is rewarding my personality. I also think that waiting for an opening is more interesting than balls to the walls action - look at cs vs call of duty, which ones is more enduring as a multiplayer game? the one where your actions feel more meaningful. About PvE creeps, please no. I hate dealing with dumb ai mobs, I'm here for the pvp. the way this game handles that is brilliant, they're essentially just there as a point capture mechanic and don't overstay their welcome, while the boss creatures only attack to make a safe zone at your team's end and the actual push keeps the focus on the pvp.

What the game really needs are just the basic expected features that every similar game already has, like competitive mode, push to talk, etc.

Maybe it's because I've been spoiled with playing Dirty Bomb where everything flows together and makes sense, but I just can't see myself playing this for an extended period of time. Even if the design choices were sensible (which they aren't) the lack of depth kills it for me. After playing the game for 20 hours I'm already as good as it's possible to be, and I've experienced every possible situation.

The game mode just isn't enjoyable. I have more fun running around the shooting range fiddling with builds and attacking shitty AI mobs than I do actually queueing for PvP now.

And just for the record, CS endures over CoD because one is a bad game and one is not - not for any reason you might come up with to support your position.

What does "pierce" mean? I've seen this word in a lot of skills of shooters, but I haven't understood its purpose yet. Does "pierce" mean that the shots of a hero ignore the armor of the opponent? or does it mean that the shots can hit multiple foes in case the foes are alligned? I tried some skills with pierce in training and all I could see was a slight increase in damage output, but maybe I was just wrong....
