The Preliminary Round 30 AP quest is harder the main one going on right now, I think. The first two rounds do mediocre damage, unlike the last one where the round 2 mob could get some lucky crit string and one-shot someone. The last round can be easy AoE down because 2 of them are Berserkers and the last one doesn't have much health.

The drops beside gold medals are shitty though, since you don't get claws anymore.

Nah. Back then no one was expecting anything out of FGO so Septem was fine, people jacked off to Nero and were ready to move forward. The problem was a complete drought of content after it, I think it was three entire months before we got to Okeanos.
