Honestly DM needs some kind of nerf; either give it it's deadzone back so she can be hit at point blank by projectiles, lower how far the cone reaches out or needs to be put on an actual cooldown but shorter than the original cooldown of ~10 secs as it's stupid how she can just keep flickering it as winston/other divers come and kill the squishies on the other team.

I wish I knew, anon. I've never tried to find out stuff about Blizzard, because Overwatch is the first game from them that I actually play.

However, it is clear that the other teams too - who run HS and HotS - are also pretty small. But I'm not sure how they prioritize their resources. HS is, or at least was, a big hit, yet it hasn't gotten THAT much content in the past year. And on the other hand, HotS seems to have only a niche playerbase, yet gets constant new updates in form of heroes and balance updates, even skins and that sort of stuff.

It's all very mystifying to me...

It's the same reason mobile games need to have a lot of events and a nearly constant stream of content or information of content coming out. That's how people are conditioned now when it comes to their games. OW has always been barebones and after a year of it sitting on market people are starting to get tired of the pathetic dripfeed of new heroes, maps, story, etc.

The damage amounts is the original poster's suggestions. Blizzard didn't mention if the damage would be changed, so if the mines are still their normal damage they're going to be quite dangerous. I also imagine that you can toss both out and then blow them up at the same time or blow them sequentially, so you toss one at the Attack spawn door and the second one a bit further away you blow up the door mine first when they come out and then blow the second one when they reach it. Opens up a lot of interesting strategies and possibilites as well as increases the enemy's paranoia because now you have to watch out for multiple mines instead of one.
