I feel like I'm not playing right. I play a long range/support DPS Mozu and I rarely get focus/summon creatures but my team often wins and I feel like I'm a big contribution. I'm not just going for kills. quite the opposite as I don't do good in 1v1s that aren't against Tripp and Tyto. I fucking smash heros like margrave and HK due to their mobility and that's without touching dimension door upgrades. I also usually get most guardian damage.

Yeah, I'm a fucking god at this game but targeted abilities like Margrave's slam or even Charnok's rain of fire are fucking awful. Everything about those kinds of abilities is funky, and god help you if it has mobility tied into it. There's a video on the forums of a Margrave aiming directly at an area in front of him, with the reticle hovering over it and everything, only to have his jump cut short half way and plunge him to his death. Gets even worse when you're trying to do it around other players, too.

It's more that playing as a solo puts you at the mercy of whatever match-making algorithm that's going on.

I can't ever imagine taking these sorts of games seriously unless you're rolling a premade on comms that you get along with. Teamwork is far too important, and is nigh-impossible when you decide you're going to play with strangers.

The only game like this I've put a fair amount of time into is Awesomenauts. Partly because it's a 3 vs 3 format so a bad player isn't too hard to carry, and laning isn't really a thing, you can just go everywhere within seconds usually.

I, someone who never wins in PvP and as such, never win in Gigantic but in bot matches that don't give shit for xp, am thankful that my 10-20 boosts ONLY APPLY ON WINS. There's a whole lot of problems beyond positioning, but I can't solve them since getting into medium range to fight results in being teabagged by Knossos or Margrave. It's bland, tasteless gameplay when you're just sent to the benches again. I'd get more value out of it once they get the spectator mode up and running

Ramsay feels way overtuned in terms of damage. He doesn't have mobility, but he's tankier than he should be given how much damage he shits. He also seems to have a million interrupts whenever I fight him or I just die from a fucking million dots.
