Why is this the case? I really don't see the fun in having 7 cookiecutter classes that build the exact same way because there's only one enforced gimmick and one enforced theme. The appeal of card games is being able to make your own personal deck but I've only managed to make two decks that feel like my own rather than me just shoving the most powerful cards into it. Even then, I still feel like they're shit BECAUSE I'm not using those kinds of cards.

It could just be because there's (still) not enough cards for me but I think I just don't like how the class system makes it seem like it's enforcing a playstyle rather than just being a preferential guideline.

Eachtar exists to compensate for the fact that Shadowcraft doesn't have a bunch of broken storm cards like every single other aggressive deck in the game. Nerfing him would cause more problems because he'd inevitably be replaced by a new, probably lot less conditional win condition.
