The only way I can feasibly imagine that they would end up feeding to octos is that they're pushing into enemy ink without covering properly. Octobrush isn't a weapon that can just waltz on into people unless they have coverage, cause they'll be shot at before they can even get into kill range. So if people cover the floors before advancing then octo can't do shit about it then retreat. But no, these players are playing fucking CoD or some shit and push into a map that's practically 80% covered in enemy ink and wonder why the fuck a guy with a brush can get on top of them and kill them like fucking retards.

I think it is one of the most fun modes, so I would like to see it happen. It is a really interesting take on king of the hill mode where as splat zones is the more traditional implementation. They just need to redo the way the score works so the whole game matters rather than just the last 30 seconds. Something along the lines of having the knock out timer start once a team gets beyond a certain percentage should work.

Japanese tournaments use turf war all the time. It's just that turf war is marketed as the 'main' game mode, and they want it to be available at all times in regular battle. Putting it in ranked wouldn't give you the option to play something besides turf war if it was in the rotation.

Im actually have more fun at Profreshional than I was at Over Achiever rank. It seems like every god awful person is stuck in those mid ranks, while people at the top rank know how to play.

I had significantly more wave 1-2 wipes in those ranks while im almost always winning or getting midway through wave 3 at profreshional.
