It was always comparable, anyone telling you otherwise is a moron. What pushed it to being a common choice for O4S is the lack of positionals on Neo Exdeath and Mantra. It's a recurring trend that MNK is picked up on the last boss.

Basically it still hits hard while bringing Mantra which is a great prog tool and Brotherhood finishes making up the difference in their personal DPS when combined with Mantra assuming a standard 3/1 physical/caster party.

And that's just with the most basic gear at the start of an expansion. I wouldn't be surprised if MNK straight up did more damage than SAM near the end when you can stack loads of crit.

Anyone here in a Hunt LS on Mateus? I keep running past all these A Ranks everywhere.

Trying to export a fight into rankings and keep getting this error

The problem with putting Coil in a roulette is that the average shitter probably wouldn't be able to clear some of the harder turns like T9.

It's not actually that hard, but when people complained about a trial that consists almost entirely of dodging AoEs that have already been taught to you and with no other notable mechanics being in the trial roulette, it's definitely still too hard for them.

Piety and Direct hit are stats that are largely based on your playstyle and whether you value DPS and/or a MP safety buffer more highly than other options.

Det/Crit is a constant back and forth argument over which is more useful for heals, with no clear victor (Insert angry reply that ____ substat is the clear winner of the two and 20 post chain of argument back and forth between people).

Most people don't like Spell Speed, but there are still some arguments for it, and I've seen plenty of successful WHMs using melds for it from time to time.

A mix of SS/Det is the best to go if you want to have melds that affect your whole skillset.

That's correct, crit however is also a larger gain per crit than per direct hit, and the crit stat also increases critical hit damage.

All that considered, DH is still better than Crit currently for increasing raw DPS, but it's not as insane a differential as people make it out to be (and BRD + possibly MNK still want to meld Crit over it anyways), and as noted above, DH will not assist your actual healing in any capacity, so it comes down to (as initially mentioned) a question of how much you value gains in DPS over gains in healing ability.

Are the Ixali beast quests supposed to be possible at their required level? I'm on the level 15 advancement quest to build HQ helm components with all my crafters in the 20s and I can't get HQ above 20% because my faggot character fucks up the one time I need them to succeed or RNG shits in my face and gives me 3 failures in a row on a 90% chance. You're not unlucky Adder is just shit. You keep your squadron and all their stats/members, you don't lose your current seals but they're locked to Adder until you switch back. You'll start out with 0 seals and the lowest rank of whatever other GC you switch to. You won't be able to access your squadron barracks though until you get back to 2LT.

The first few ranks are kind of a pain because you don't have expert delivery to meet the seal counts to rank up early on.
