Materials from the quests and the exchange are essential, Crystal Lores are limited in number so definitely get those too. Get the CE if you wwant it, buy the EXP cards if you have spare Bronze/Silver medals at the end, even if you just turn them into Mana Prisms.

The good thing is that the EXP are pretty decent so you should leve up after you've done it a bunch of times. Not sure about the rates though. I got like 2 random drops so far and played it around 5-6 times.
The best would be another 9 for me since I need them for Jets, herc and Carmilla. Good thing is that they gave us 5 for the first clearing at least. That's more than the shit I got through the last month.
