I would very much like for Total War games, not necessarily Warhammer, but I would not be against that, to go back to the micromanagement of artillery and troops Empire had. What with different ammunition types, lumbering/unlumbering.

Also, real troop formations.
And give me back one on one duel animations.
Full sea battles.

I know most of these things are hard to implement, especially what with the different sizes and morphologies of the units And doing it, would probably lead to the games being the same ramshackle hodgepodge that was Atilla.

I'm fine with most of them, with few exeptions:

1) There is an Emperor's bodyguard in the game already, it's called fucking reiksguard. They could've added foot reiksguard, it's in the lore. It's not the a big deal though, they look almost exactly the same, and you can rename units.

2) Why are Knights Panther wield axes all of a sudden? If they wanted to include axe-wilding knights, they could've added hunters of sigmar, or other order that is more appropriate, like knights of the bull. It's a minor thing, but they look dumb with those norscan looking axes.

3) All of WE units are dumb sergant-level extensions. There is no reason for them to be here, they add nothing.

4) Bretoninan foot knights go against faction favor, and crossbowmen are not lore-appropriate anymore.

Because the original Beastmen armybook was a rushed piece of shit that just lifted all the "Beast" style creatures from Hordes, then threw them together in a new book while forgetting to let them keep anything that made them decent. 7th edition was a bit better, but they decided to not give them back the options they lost previously for whatever reason. Manticores are a race of chaos corrupted monsters, and Beastmen love that shit. Considering they already follow around normal Chaos hordes I'd see no reason they wouldn't do the same with Beastmen. On the TT GW was pretty autistic about Beastmen and Warriors of Chaos not sharing as many monsters or units like that to try to keep them distinct (they removed Chaos Trolls and all of the Dragon Ogres from the Beastmen TT roster because of this), but lore-wise it's a-ok.

A lot of unit variety. Seperate trees for Khorne/Slaanesh/Nurgle/Tzeentch. Expendable unit tree in the form of cultists. Huge hero units in the form of Dragons/Lord of Change, new skills for Lords based on the 4 gods.

Can encamp with 0% movement left, meaning you don't have to do exactly 75% of your movement and encamp. You can move the full duration, attack a city, defeat them, then encamp and recruit/upgrade your buildings, making everything far less sluggish.

They make the starting units much more interesting as well. Archaeon gets Chosen Swordmasters which are insanely offensive lower health infantry. Kholek gets Norscan Berserkers and Huscarls. Sigvald gets 2 Slaanesh Infantry units, and this pink memey cannon that shoots shots that debuff and slow enemies.

Not sure what the other changes are but I'm sure there are more. It's just a huge amount of content that not only makes them far less sluggish to play, but much more interesting to fight against.

I'm still early in but he's Armored/Very Fast/Melee Expert/Armor Piercing.

Has like 180 speed, insanely high weapon strength, extra damage on his knockback, fear and terror, 25% missle and magic resistance. Siege Attacker.

He doesn't seem to be able to spellcast but he looks pretty strong. He's the final unit of the tree that has chaos trolls/chaos giants/forsaken giants/Chaos Manticores.

I think it's worth trying if you have even the slightest interest in Chaos.

Really it's was just an excuse for him to have something unique on the TT with his daemon, but the timeline of the actual books is far too strict for him to have gone off leading armies while he was originally possessed. To be fair they did advance it in later editions, the Witch King ended up letting him replace his degenerate brother and take up his father's old position, making him one of the Witch Kings top generals and putting him at the top of Dark Elf society. He pretty much achieved everything he wanted besides getting rid of Tz'arkan.

Anything that worships (or at least fights for) Chaos can become a Chaos Warrior.
Kurgan and Hung aren't Norscan Marauders but make up the bulk of the Chaos Warriors.
Everything else is right I think, although you can become a Demon Prince instead of Everchosen (I actually think it's easier to become one than becoming Everchosen)
