Playing through Raidou right now and I have some questions:
Why did Raidou resort to murdering his little sister over such a petty argument? It seemed like such an out of character decision, and even more weird is that the plot point is abandoned as quickly as it came up in the first place.
Also, when is it established that he can talk with cats? The quest to locate Johnnie Walker, the cat killer who plans to make a flute out of cats' souls, in Nakano Ward was similarly out of the blue.

That's moonphase meter. You'll get to give critical hit to enemies during full moon and basically grant you an extra turn.

camera controls are bad in nocturne, you have to use triggers to move it around or press circle to re center the camera. the number is the kagutsuchi phase which affects alot of stuff, on full kagutsuchi phase you can perform sacrifice fusion, the special chests give you good stuff and some demons can only be recruited during full phase

Ok I figured out how to take care of the soldiers but I got petri-locked by Abbadons that spawned afterwards and just kept attacking me from 3 spaces away.

To be fair that's because TDE was added later with all the bonus stuff. And even then you can just opt not to go down the last elevator for the Labarnyth and you'll only miss out on the Lucifer fight.

Vanilla Noctune isn't any better in terms of what route does what, unless you pick the eternal vortex ending in which case you don't even get a final boss at all.

It's very uncommon, but the game can freeze on you. From what I've read, it's mainly in the frozen warehouse (funnily enough) and/or during a battle animation.

Matador's hard for people that have never played a SMT before and are thinking in FF terms. Ie spam Attacks, don't buff because in FF they're not worth the trouble don't bother debuffing because bosses are always immune to those things in FF.

It takes more effort getting demons (especially with Nocturne's shitty rng negotiations), getting the skills you need, and fusing them than simply just resetting the game.

The fuck kind of comparison is this? Resetting the game takes like 10 seconds at most. The only thing that makes Minotaur difficult is him getting a critical by chance and Smirk your team to death.

It's a fun game and the new VA adds to the charm except Midori, holy SHIT she's awful and her voice is starting to make me hate the character. It's literally been at least 7/8 years since I last played endgame so I don't remember the specifics, sorry (just getting raped by Lucifer while jamming out to his sick bgm). What was your build? I went full magic (did it again on Overclocked) and things have always been fine to me. Running into some money problems though since I tend to try fusing demons prioritizing on Anti-skills especially those that would cover up what's otherwise a natural weakness

Get rid of Media, you have supporter demons for that.
If you haven't fought Krishna yet (assuming you aren't a dummy who plays on Conflict), that's also the absolute last thing you want on your Nanashi if he gets charmed.

Power Punch, Oni-Kagura, Fang Breaker are pretty good skills at that point. I ran a high luck build and used those at that level.

So, is Krishna supposed to be immortal?
Gods can't kill other gods, which is why they had to seal Krishna, but why did he go back to his seal after being sliced by Nanashi? The likes of Odin and Maitreya died after being defeated, and the scene where Krishna is beaten strongly implied he died, but he was just sent back.
