They wont move onto paths anymore though so you can kind of force them to move into plots that you've left for them, seeing as they wont move in over flower patches or fruit trees either.

Then you reconnect the dots each time. It's best to do it when your town fills up for the first time because then you start building PWPs and permanent buildings between the dots. With the PWPs there it's easier to reconnect the dots

It combines all of the prices of your PWP's, Ordinance, bells spent at shops, bells gained overall with a decrease in that, costs of your house, items lying around, items in storage currently, and some other factors, all into one lump sum. My launch town got me 40 mil, but I used that up easy for making a dream house. You can also choose whether to sell your catalog or not.
