The expansion will have a road trip with the gang, and they'll make a stop in one quaint little town... a teenage nanako greets them and she may or may not get a crush on the MC, just warning the sister-complex nanakofags out there.

You will get the option to initiate the moon arcana social link with either Shiho or Mishima, depending on who you spend more time with before the day Shiho is supposed to jump. Shiho will still jump but she'll be in a wheel chair for a bit and do everything mishima does. Mishima still shows up in some of Ryuji's social links.

They're reducing the power of SP adhesives. They really want palaces to take a few days to complete, no more autistically doing it all in one day, characters who get knocked out are ejected from the palace like in Tartarus

Alertness is much higher now when being spotted, and getting 100% is a much more real risk. Ohya's confidant abilities will be reworked to increase the chance of treasure demons while keeping the "reduce alertness", it stays useful because of the changes to the difficulty.

If you're still reading this then, fuck, I dunno. Uhh, Hifumi is going to be a playable character. you have to beat her in an actual shogi match and the game does not explain the rules.

Yeah, Akechi's last skill is Debilitate at Lv70. Even with his poor damage output, that alone makes him a good choice for boss battles, since it frees up Joker to focus on pure damage (assuming you also have Ryuji and Makoto for Matarukaja and Marakukaja).
Apparently some players wait until Akechi joins to fight the Twins, since Akechi and Joker can double-cast Debilitate in one round to keep both of them debuffed.

I'm surprised nobody complains about the romances with Tae and Ohya, only complaints I heard were about Kawakami. Probably because she's one of the first cakes you see, and you need stat boosts to date Tae early on, so they aren't aware? Tae and Ohya's relationships are not nearly as lovey dovey as Kawakami so you'd think the prudes would attack them.

Considering P3 was meant to have a manga aesthetic, and P5 had a manga aesthetic that reached out of the screen and yelled that it was inspired by manga, it would be real goddamn fab if they remade P3 using the P5 engine.

P4's my favorite but P3 would beat it handily were the order of their releases reversed, and the writing and gameplay just that extra 2 years more polished. P3's potential is enormous but suffered from being the first game they made in a long fucking time and not really knowing how they were handling things.

If they remade persona 3, then I hope the anime cutscenes are still as great as they were before. Not in animation quality, but in the pacing. The first cutscene for example was really panicky and chaotic, and most of the cutscenes have a feeling of dread that is not in persona 4 or 5. That might be too hardcore for today's audiences, even though persona is a softcore SMT as people say.

I, personally, am hoping the next Persona game takes many cues from Persona 5, because it was undoubtedly the best game in the franchise if you take gameplay into account, and with a compelling story it could've been, truly, one of the greatest JRPGs of all time.
