Well, they got Sonic Boom for that stuff.
Say what you will about Sega, but at least now they have their tones spread out.
So like Boom has comedy one plot per episode fun, X was Animu, Games are now pretty bland but predictable for kids, and the comic had the crap for the older readers who wanted more story.

I think if they're going to be doing the comic, it won't be like Archie with the 50 issue arcs, but it'll be a bit more serious than the games.

Sonic isn't for me anymore. Literally nothing about Forces is what I want out of the series. I didn't want vocal themes, I didn't want alternate gameplay styles, I didnt want edgy plots and edgier new characters, I didn't want talking in stages, I didn't want a character creator, I didn't want a totally confused identity as to what Sonic even is, I didn't want mindless nostalgia pandering to an era when Sonic was at it's lowest. I didn't just not ask for this; i actively didn't want it.

IF it does do a crossover with this series, I would rather prefer it being the MLP Cast entering Sonic's world and not the otherway around. This could make it a tad less of an eyesore, possibly styling the MLP Cast in the Sonic Style in the process. This, Im excited for Forces but I don't think it's outright terrible, nor do I think it's on Generations' level, more like a slight level below Colors. A nice little treat to serve as the obligatory bi(?)yearly Modern Sonic game with over-the-top attributes with Mania being the big anniversary game. Mania's marketed as such more than Forces.

Not him. Generations isn't bad. It has a horrible story, is very short and padded, and the level design is so-so. One of the biggest issues from generations is how classic sonic plays (being NOT EVEN CLOSE to how the originals play), which seems to return. Not to mention we have wisps forced down our throat again, when it was clear fucking NOONE wants wisp back. The buddy levels look like shit so far as well.

Alright guys, the few of us who have gathered together to make a /sthg/ fan game have decided that before going through with making a full game it would be best to start small. We will first do a "trial", or basically a small project to help with ironing out the kinks, test our skill-sets and test the waters if we as a community can make this game. This project will be a small level sort of like Birthday Bash Zone, and to determine the direction we will refer to you when possible, first order of business is if this level will be designed as a hub or a regular linear level. Both options have their pros and cons.

I voted other but it may be Hub anyway. I would like it styled like Spyro or Breath of the Wild, where if the levels are Green Hill for example, the Hub is similar to GHP version 1, and different portals lead to different acts or boss acts. These portals would be closed for future use, but the Hub gives a great way to run around to get a feel for how Sonic moves AND is a great way to see how well we can hide secrets and collectibles.

I meant the idea of Casino Breezie is likely dead with Archie, and likely the character as well unless we have a literal autist like Ian onboard who will weasel through every Sega mandate possible to use all the characters (despite basically running out by the time the comics went on hiatus at Archie), and even that doesn't guarantee we'll get the same lovable characters.

I'm not sure what the original context was, but Sonic's the only one. Following the patterns of Sonic's design, I came up with designs for Tails and a few others. Though, what I'm doing, I split the design up between humanization as a normal person with casual clothes, and humanization with the same hair, eyes, clothes and stuff as their original design.
