CS:GO E-sports no longer needs him now that it's growing into something so big. Real "professionals" don't get to toggle the asshole switch as soon as they clock-out. They are expected conduct themselves in a professional manner even when not "on-duty." It's called "leading by example." The only example Thorin sets is that you can be arrogant and treat people like shit as long as you're convinced that what you're saying is true, and if things get out of hand you can just use the cop-out "it's banter m8." Anyone got any tips for soloqueue in mg ranks? I either end up with an okay team that communicates a bit, can aim and isn't boosted or the opposite. It's a coinflip and I keep losing.

I got my friend to start with CSGO a couple of months ago, he had played 1.6 so he knew the basics and wasn't terrible

Anyways, I started queueing with him on my smurf account and after playing with him for a few weeks I had got him to LEM but man I dunno if he fits in there, maybe a couple ranks lower. He makes so many basic mistakes, his sense of timings and such are not so great, which is understandable as it takes a while to make it your second nature. But I try to get him to analyze the game more, when he wastes a nade or does some stupid play I might sometimes ask him what he wanted to accomplish or give him a hint on what he should've done and what to consider next time. Yes, I know it might come off as passive aggressive or smth but I don't know what else to do. I've told him to practice kz and bhop to learn better movement but he says he's not interested in that even though he moves around like Pasha. Anyways, I guess he has done good progress considering he seems to be able to hold his ground on LEM now after only been playing for a few months. Unlike some friends that might be stuck on DMG and lower, he shows a will to git gud but still, you kinda want him to be more analytic about his play and not just going through the motion which I think most people do wrong.
