This actually helped a ton, thanks for showing me.

I couldn't follow it exactly but I had a general gist of what to do: Nino kills pretty much everything except the red horse and the green mage. That'd be up to Xander. I gave Olivia a Ruby Sword so she could tank the axe horse by the end and it was smooth sailing from there. Xander was able to tank a lot but he takes 16 damage from the green mage, so I had to give him the HP +3 Seal and he was able to hold on with just 1 HP. Also, he had Bonfire fully charged and he was able to one shot the red mage... but only when Berkut went down because otherwise his Ward Cavalry would thwart that plan. Nothing too hard for Nino though.

Finally. Now I'm done with Berkut, and I just got all the rewards for Tempest this morning. I guess it's time for me to either do the Chain maps again or just train random units (like my newly acquired Berkut) for the heck of it.

Problem with vantage:
No DC so it's worthless if she's attacked from a distance
She lacks the firepower to OHKO melee and lacks the def to survive a hit at low HP, meaning she dies regardless if she's in vantage range.

Problems with desperation:
Not fast enough to double most threatening mages in the meta
Not strong enough to kill most melee blues with a double.

Desp is better than Vantage but neither are super valuable. Anna just doesn't utilize a B slot very well. IIRC she comes with vantage so I'd just stick with that unless you have a surplus of desp fodder.

You honestly don't even need that, the common blue mages all die to her in one shot anyway, and only Nino and Bunnymila can survive her, which should be dealt with your red anyway

And youre overestimating melee blues a lot, with Fury or LaD she kills most of them, and only Robin, Effie and Ephraim are common enough and survive her if they have fury too.

I think desperation is good enough on her, but I think wings of mercy is a valid option too

In echoes? Lucas' growths are all in atk and def, which are really redundant with the bases/promotion bonuses for his class. So he ends up really top-heavy with all his stats in def/atk.

If you use the free fork, make him into a merc after promoting him to baron or the armor class before him, he'll have sanic speed, high attack, and stupid high bulk. Fixes his growths a bit too

She's too slow actually, even when she has a Hone on her. That's why I'll upgrade a +spd one soon and put Speed+3 or Fury on her so she gets 6 more speed than she has now. You'll still want Distant Counter on her if you have it though.

Aside from that she's been pulling her weight. In the Infernal GHB today she tanked Berkut, the other lance cav and the firesweep bow cav and got 3 kills in total.

I have all of them. I use Xander and Camus in my cav team. I don't use Zephiel, Berkut, Michalis, Narcian, Clarisse and Ursula. I am considering using Ursula because of her Death Blow and maybe Zephiel in an armor team. I can't judge how useful Clarisse will be so I will be leveling her and try her out to see how good she'll do. I don't intend on using Narcian or Michalis.

The first 5 maps shouldn't give you much trouble, as long as you have a solid team that can keep it's health, I did it with full cavmemes, because they trivialzed even Ike's chapters, however, you need to arrive at the final map with 2 teams remaining, doesn't matter if only 1 reaches it as long as you clear the previous defense map, which is in my opinion the hardest one in this set, the last map is all about baiting everyone as fast as possible, Mist has WoM so watch out for that

>Team 2: Michalis, Subaki, Palla, Est (Killed everyone but Soren)

Cav memes aren't the best in Celica's maps, specially fear mountain (map 3), because the split means they won't be fully bufed and enemies have bullshit stats, aside from that, map 4 is a bit easier and you want cav memes, fliers or extreme buffs for killing Celica and her friends in map 5.

The last 5 maps are pure unadultered bullshit, map 6 is easy enough but on map 7 you WANT to bait Sonya turn 1 or else you risk losing a whole team because time is up, save specials for this map, Leon and the Pegasus are extremely bulky, kill Saber turn 1 or else he will charge aegis.

Map8 just make sure you have someone that can kill a 45 spd 71hp Gray, a bladetome with swordbreaker works wonders for this.

Map9 is the worst, bait Sonya without killing her so Leon can't attack you too, and make sure to kill saber as soon as possible too, because those 5 turns run out quickly

Map10 just kill as much as you can, and let the final team clean, try to kill at least Bruno and Sonya
