Used to charge a spring cleaner, you need to be a good goy, have played during December when they give it away for free, or just lucky from daily keys.

1 spring is one charge, tight springs are untradable springs.

It's similar to runescape in that there's no classes. Your gear determines your class and there's no limit as to what you can train your character to do.

It touts itself as a "sandbox mmo" where everything is player made/controlled which ultimately means that if you're not in a city controlled by your clan you get Jewed to the extreme to use anything. Even crafting benches will charge you.

Also there's no quests or anything. It's just grind for guild pvp

Just do Gregorovic, he's the best GWD2 boss and gives best average loot. Even if you don't get a crest or glaive you'll end up getting a lot of battlestaves.

In a livestream a couple of weeks ago, they said that the mining and smithing rework is only in the pre-production stage, so it's not even close to complete. They were 50% done with it, but reddit didn't like the design doc so they scrapped the entire project and started over. Early on making gp can be a little difficult. What I went with, and what other people suggest sometimes, is to do slayer contracts, particularly banshees. They give a lot of good drops, xp, and then the cash bonus is pretty nice.

You won't need much cash til you're high level anyways, and at high level you can always alch slayer drops with rune items. The first real cash cow I came into was gargoyles, which are ~1m/hr if you git gud at them. The second, and where you might want to spend a long time if you're going for any large sum of cash, would be spiritual mages, which drop poorpriest, ghostly rewards (ghost hunter set + cremation + ectoplasmator), and a hell of a lot of alchables.

I personally prefer prif pickpocketing as my money making method, because it's almost entirely afk and will net you millions before you know it.

People claim the early game of rs3 needs work, even a thread on reddit that blew up but the only problem with the tutorial I see is that it leaves unrealistic expectations for how quests actually work for this game and actually makes it seem more generic than it is with pathing auto on.

The early game gear, items, levelling is probably some of the most enjoyable content on rs3, if they gave free 14 day members within the first month of launch I think it would show how much there is to offer.

There is a factor going for both clients on phones though and that is most people don't have PCs now, they have laptops which some people won't open outside of school.
