Sigurd legitimately has very little wiggle room here. He can't be 35/35, stop asking you min-maxing faggots, he would literally just be better than everyone else with no hope of anyone else having a purpose.
I think his best bet is being a mounted better version of Seliph.
Check this:

With a +def IV this brings him up to a ridiculous 39 defense. Let's play this "wasted points on speed" bullshit straight and just make him mounted Lukas. With Tyrfing activated, this would give him a stupid 43 defense. Furthermore, with defiant defense, that makes it a solid 50 fucking defense.

Then you can go full retard and throw him at literally anything and he can brash assault it while taking 0 damage. That's stupid. Add horsebuffs too. Now you're playing with portals.

Really, all this does is make Sigurd fucking invincible, and let's him steamroll entire maps by himself while taking 0 damage.

You know. Like in genealogy.

With +res, res+3, and the res+1 seal, she can hit 40 res. That's enough to survive a +atk Death Blow 3 Reinhardt with Hone Cav. Of course, QP ruins that, but that's an example of how well she can tank magic. And I'm certain they'll introduce a res-version of Fortress Def at some point, Sanctuary Res or such, so she'll get even better. This build also lets her safely run any of the Ploy skills except Panic Ploy.

Also, with +spd, spd+3, and the spd+1 seal, she can reach 38 spd. That's enough to avoid getting doubled by a +spd Fury Linde. And, since she won't be the one with Hone Spd on your team, she can reach 42 spd. Fast enough to not get doubled by many of the fastest enemies, and with an adorable 33 res to spare.

And if you can't pull any of that off, remember that keeping Serra away from all that nasty fighting is a-okay.
