QP is awful because you have to deal with either your team being 5 DPS, the enemy team being 5 DPS (and your team not knowing that if you spread out the 5 DPS format will fuck you up), or people getting upset that you're attempting to play properly if your team does go something resembling a decent composition.

You get ridiculed in QP for playing the game properly.

Comp is BS, QP has become BS... can't win for losing. If something doesn't change I don't know if I can say I'll keep playing like I do once I get a Switch and Splatoon 2. The community in this game has gone to shit. I get QP isn't serious. I get we all want to be (shit at) Hanzo and Widowmaker. Sure. No healers? Whatever, we have a Sombra to go with our snipers it's cool.

But at least try to play the objective. I just want people that try. I remember no limits BS like all Torbs. Shittiest of comps, but those little Swedish dwarves gave it their all and we'd pull a win now and then and it was genuinely fun. There's no more magic in QP. No more people trying. No more fun. A good Winston can still do his job even with a Reaper exclusively focused on him. Arguably, having one of the DPS exclusively focused on you is an ideal situation for a tank. I shit all over Reapers when I play Winston.

... that said, half the games with Reaper swaps in my Winston games lately are complete disasters. Not because the Reaper can kill me, but because he starts ignoring me and murders my entire team instead. Reaper can't stop me from diving, and he can't kill me, but we still lose because I have almost no ability to protect my team from a Reaper. I have no idea what to do in these situations. Taking over D.Va doesn't work because when you're on teams this retarded they won't be able to kill the Reaper while you have the DM on him. I've tried going triple DPS as Soldier and just shooting the motherfucker in the face when he tries jumping a teammate, but then we lose Winston's initiation and our team complains about the lack of 2/2/2. Going support seems to be at least half way effective since that means at least one support won't die to him, but eventually he'll just start ignoring me again and killing the rest of the team. My current theory is to just go super aggro with Winston and kill the rest of the Reaper's team solo, then it'll just be the two of us idiots left without the rest of our team around.

What if the more picked and higher win rate a hero was it gave you diminished SR gains.
This would lead to more heroes being played to get higher SR each match, meaning more people are playing less picked heroes leading to a more open and varied meta.
There is literally no reason to "innovate" a new meta when the current one works and gets you just as much SR.
