Mallet has many, many drawbacks. Its aggro is unreliable. If you're on a team, you have 3 other allies drawing aggro. Not to mention its DPS is useless if your allies have any sort of CC or other damage frame. Compared to other damage frames like mesa, equinox, or chroma, Mallet doesn't even compare. Plus, mallet can only over one area at a time.

There are plenty of good solo frames, and there's pretty much no situation where I'd take Octavia over another frame

Every time I invite people to my dojo for trades they clip through walls or start elevating like they are going up an invisible set of stairs and from the other side of the room initiate trade but when I'm in a game doing literally anything everyone is running around silky smooth.
