I took some screenshots of some of the sexism and obsession with the appearance of the female commentators in the Overwatch World Cup. Women are just not taken seriously in this game, which is why every single team that’s played so far is 100% men.

Good on Blizzard for making sure the analyst desk was 50/50 men/women, but now you need to do something about these people we play the game with, because playing with these sexist idiots is fucking exhausting and demoralizing.

There MUST be a NO TOLERANCE policy for discrimination in the game. It’s the only way to stamp this crap out.

Yeah but when you DO get lucky or throw it down the big corridor near the second point of El Dorado where it's a guaranteed teamwipe and kill absolutely everyone it feels so great.

If they manage to get back to their team, solo dragonblade/pulsebomb them and go back to camping.

Another fun one I left out. Go pharah and play normally until your Mercy has res. Fly over a pit and when players start dying on your team, drop down and die. Mercy can't fly on her own and will fall to her death too.

Sadly, this typically only works once per game, maybe twice if you can convince her you ran out of fuel.

it's because the bulk of the player base in this game are fucking terrible. So even when diamond is +1 over average it's still a rather small chunk of the over all player base. Yet match making still needs to find games 24/7/365 for everyone over the entire SR range.

so they force everyone over 3k to grind out more games a week. It's the only way match making can work being most players can't hardly get to plat, never mind 3k+.

the problem is I think the decay is having players just not give a fuck and knock out a few random games just to avoid decay. So if they think it's a lose, they just throw vs trying come back. Being it's faster and they need to knock out 7 games a week. I don't think it decay should be there below masters.

My theory on Summer Games:

Ana will be the mascot for the event
The event will release alongside a comic titled "Back to the beach."
It will be similar to the Halloween comic where its a glimpse of the Golden Days where everyone is getting along.
Ana will be wearing a one-piece suit with a hooded bathing suit cover over it. I'd like to say she'll be wearing sunglasses and flip-flops as well.
Her nano grenade will be a water balloon.
She'll be wearing that outfit in the comic
In the comic they will be playing some version of modified volleyball which will be translated into a new game mode alongside returning lucio ball in-game.
Doomfist will get a legendary in this event but won't be in the comic.
I would also like to say that Bastion's look from the cover of Binary will be an epic skin but that's more of a hope rather than a prediction.

Thoughts? Want me to give my reasoning?

They kind of ruined Pharah and Ana by bringing her "back" and then giving her this Young Ana skin. It worked better when Pharah was this woman damaged by and resentful for how Overwatch destroyed her mother. It gave her some depth and having her mom be this legendary, now dead soldier made it seem like OW really was a while ago and another age.

Then Ana is actually back and everybody sucks her dick and she's basically got Pharah's personality but 10x more cocky and experienced? And she doesn't really blame OW at all for what happened to her and has her own story opened up with S76 and Reaper that's all in the past? Where does that leave Pharah?

Then the Young Ana skins made it worse because it's one of the best designs in the game, and it's literally a flashback.

I wish they had just kept Ana dead and used the Young Ana design and had her be Pharah's little sister or something, who looks after her mom and Pharah and wants to join the reformed OW just like them. Then they still get to use a 10/10 design, Pharah has someone to be concerned for and look after, and we could have had a young character whose personality isn't just "badass bitch" like 90% of Blizzard females.

Am I onto something here or am I retarded for caring about the lore of a Blizzard game?

I win 1v1 with Bastion all the time except at close range, where I don't think he's supposed to win. Honestly I think Bastion is almost OK at this point, he just needs a little bit more. I basically spawn camped mercy, lucio, pharah and their genji. Effectively removed from the game because I would instantly kill them when they jump out of position. DVA/Winston make the fucking game uncarryable though.
