Extremely accurate, I didn't need def cap for any boss in BWL during progression.

You don't even need to soak or have NR res in AQ there.

Tuning is beyond all kinds of fucked up with players do inflated DPS while taking underwhelming damage comparatively.

Their pathing is arguably the worst aspect of the server as a whole making Warriors, Warlocks, and Hunters extremely unpleasant to play, let alone PvP with. For example, you stop around 10-15 yards behind the target facing the wrong direction when using charge. Domo's adds can be kited through Molten Core and they reset via the ceiling flying through the air. Chromaggus can be solo tanked and all his breaths can be avoided by simply moving LoS in a certain spot and the boss won't pat towards you.

The last major issue that people had with Kronos was it's server performance. Thought the lag and downtime on Elysium or even Nost was bad? Try playing Kronos II at it's peak (and it's downfall), consistent, and horrific lag for months on end followed by lies by the staff (2 weeks new hardware meme became 6 months and no hardware apparently).

Is it worth going out of the way to train professions early on? I was thinking about running to Stormwind after I finished Northshire to train mining. I would probably get a few nodes while leveling in Elwynn and it would give me a start on mining but then also bag space is quite limited and it would add ~15 minutes to my initial leveling -- which could slow me down considerably depending on how packed it is on day 1.

Skinning and mining or herbalism are always good. Enchanting is the only other profession that you really benefit from carrying while leveling -- for disenchanting bop greens for mats. You can ship off all of your mats to an alts mailbox and/or guild bank. You can always drop one of the gathering professions (or both) at cap and used the mats you grinded while leveling to level up the crafting profession.

And on private servers I usually get to top level then play for a few weeks/month then get burned out.

On other private servers, it can get so bad that the Alliance / Horde ratio is 30:70. It will get to the point where people are FORCED to roll Horde, since it's impossible to level up in contested zones as Alliance once you get past level 30.

The idea of a faction queue is to prevent that massive imbalance by keeping it at a more manageable 45:55, or at most 40:60.

I actually never played original Camelot so couldn't get into Uthgard, but I played the shit out of Warhammer which had some similar concepts.
