They're both cool. Roegadyn dudes have some problem with stretching some gear and making the ps3 pixels even worse, Highlanders are missing eyebrows which really bugs me. I'd say try making a quick character of both, look at their animations and decide which you like best !

Just buy the 255s from vendors for gil and a shire weapon + upgrade token for the 270 shire weapon. Better off saving tomes for random glamour/animus weapon steps if you wanna bother.

HW/SB have to feature scenic areas both on ground and in the air, and it doesn't help that Stormblood is a literal copy/pasted product with bland, samey zones. None of these areas have any identity.

And remember POTD is good for your exp, but bad for your "health". Dont overdo it or you'll end up not knowing how to play your class

Also If youve got to floor 50 I SUGGEST going in solo at floor 51, standing still and reading all your abilites, finding out your 60 rotation and rearranging your hotbars in advance since theres no other way. This is good advice for anyone starting a new job and has it like level 30ish.

I started noticing it and it's driving me fucking crazy. I swear I didn't see this at all in the old zones.
Just pick out one rock outcropping in a SB zone and you'll see it copy and pasted everywhere, often right next to each other.

The AST was doing exactly what you would want a healer in a Duty Finder run to do, which is DPS instead of being a Cure/Physick/Benefit bot.

The AST ran out of MP because the DPS were not pulling their weight. Its likely that one or two of the DPS were not using their AoEs. If they were, waves of mobs would be cleared quick enough for the AST to retain their MP.

If the party's DPS is low/bad, then yeah, of course a WHM will run empty from spamming Holy, of course an AST will run empty from spamming Gravity.

If he DID have MP though then yeah, that's on him. Or maybe the tank never use his cooldowns. Or maybe the tank was undergeared. I don't know cause I wasn't there and can't analyze accurately

Dont worry, it stops becoming the best at a certain point.

And a tank can always run dungeons because the exp they give is just as good and queue times are instant, so i suggest that.

Make sure you have your FC EXP buff up and you can also eat food for a bit more exp boost.

i don't see RPers get griefed, there's a bit of friction between Mateus people who felt like their special snowflake status of being the smallest server has been intruded upon and to some degree it's also due to just more players = higher chance of hunts being pulled which spawns some salt that Balmung transferees are blamed at times for, it's not true though, sometimes I ask my static's tank to pull the hunt so I can go get some things done or moreso if someone is being extremely annoying about "dont pull early dont pull early in all caps". But overall the etiquette is pretty good, usually they give a lot of time before pulls compared to my experience on Balmung and Gilg

I wouldn't say shitposted at in shout chat, there's a lot of Balmungers :^) but in all honesty a great deal of people don't even care I think so much as just they're getting accustomed to there being more people, so long as there isn't ERP in public. Most everyone I've asked about it which isn't a small number say they actually don't particularly care, they think the extra amount of people is healthy even if its a bit scarier to get shirogane housing

I've seen a few RP events here and there, I don't really look out for it, I'm not sure if it's passed already but there was like some introduction to RP event going on somewhere in Ul'dah I believe. I think it just takes a few people who really want to be outgoing to liven that up.

Quicksands I've seen about half as busy as Balmung quicksands, but I don't go into those places too often. Canopy looks pretty comfy. I've seen a ridiculous amount of people in Ul'dah though when some things are going down. it's a bit of a spectacle honestly. If people catch wind of an RP event going on, tons of people show up just to glance their heads since it's new to them.

I see no reason for us not to be friends. I don't RP all that much though if someone starts talking to me IC, I talk IC.

Oh and something I forgot to mention but heard about, while of course the people who bought out a housing ward between the two of them came off as extremely abrasive and annoying in their tumblr post I think it was, I've heard they're rather friendly in actuality, and basically just enjoy decorating to what in my mind is an insane extent, they're turning all the houses into various buildings for rp scenes for anyone to use and hold events at from what I understand.

On Overload. That it was before is, you overload on the jump and at the end of the fight, and never again. This was because it prevents you from resummoning your turret for 30 seconds. At 15 seconds it breaks even, at 12(really 11.5) seconds it's a dps loss that gets worse.

This doesn't change now, but it can also be used mid fight for a 0 DPS loss if you need an extra push to down an objective. And if you plan for proper use and know the fight it's an extreme DPS boost. The two times I can use it on susan alone will shit my personal DPS through the roof.

Exdeath is probably the closest thing to legitimately "hard" that delta gets, otherwise the difficulty just comes from not knowing the mechanics. Alt Right is just slip-n-slide AOE dodges, Catastrophe is "I wonder if I should use anti-gravity against earthquakes!!??" and running toward the tentacle that loses its icon first, frogslut is just standing on panels (protip blue panels = good grey panels = bad).

The correct answer is that they absolutely weren't. Everything about 4.0 Warrior screams "knee-jerk nerfs" across the board.

4.05 is looking like a very strong start to fixing this shit though. At this point the only things left that would fix my complaints are bringing back bloodbath, making onslaught not cost gauge, and putting IR and UC on seperate timers.
