Thats not how I have fun with the game. Would more endgame stuff be good? Obviously. I have the most fun leveling new characters and trying new builds. I rather play a new character than do the same shit on the same character for equips. Once I got my Solmiki set on my main and got my stage 10, I don't want to do that shit anymore on my alts. Even if they had raids or different shit, that shit would get boring after a week. That's the problem with all MMOs is it all gets monotonous quickly.

Making new builds and the occasional GvG is the only thing that keeps the spark for me and ToS is one of the only MMOs to keep my interest because of it.

I've run into a lot of times where me and my friend went to a whale and their DPS was practically nonexistent. Either AFKers not giving a damn or just shit players in general. We usually switch to our Cryo and Monk at that point, the Ice Wall combo wrecks that fucking thing but it lags up a storm.

lifeline gives what? some con for people who don't need con, lol. All int characters goes full int, physical dps usually go high str with some dex if they have atk speed skills like highlanders or AA archers capped by their ping. Biggest gain would be a full con chrono getting int from the elememe and now enjoyng +~900 matk on their icewall for combos, but since he's a chrono and don't have a good weapon...nothing changes

giving a a lot of dex to a str archer with a atk speed build would be nice, sure, or vice-versa, str to a high dex archer/swordie, but you just CAN'T compare the power of the swells with this, specially for one handed weapon classes.

linker 3 best asset is JP itself, even after the "nerf". when you're not playing with monkeys, JP is as good as before, but /tosg/ thinks it's okay to ruin a party using full spr pd BDS over a good linker being turbopassed

that what I would recommend. Dex is underrated as fuck, specially on sapper. Broom Trap + Kneeling shoot is a NICE combo, and cannoneer synergy with it is also amazing. I would definitely go green gem on main weapon and red on off hand (cannon). with leather set and sissels you'll be fine. Kneelingshot+swift step can push your CR up to 700+ easily

Scout was filler but honestly I get good mileage out of it, I wish I took Sapper2, and with Rogue changes, I think I'd rather go Archer3Sapper2Fal1Cann2

Assuming I'd get more mileage out of Falconer than Appraiser adding a seperate crit roll that's something like 25-35% chance, I'm not sure exactly. Blindside's crit attribute has to be pretty sick too, I'll have to test it out on my appraiser later but it's not a dex character.

Right now at 280 on my guy I get +800 PAtk from Kneeling Shot and if I monstrance scroll for a boss it's something like +1100

Any thoughts on varying up this build for heavy crits and kneeling shots?

It's something really different from what I expected but looks good. Scout was super nerfed (flare shot went to only 10 seconds from 15 previously), but it's okay for a one rank filler. I never tried appraiser so I can't add much.
I'm not sure how QS interacts with canons right now... Falconer is always a good addition, aoe ratio fixes and hovering is a underrated bossing skill, but maybe you would do better with sapper 3 instead, specially on a very high dex build without rogue. Sapper's 3 Broom attribute makes it an easy 90% critical chance skill and the extra damage from the lv 10 is also noticeable, plus, detonate traps lv 15 is the bane of any flying mob. Cannon c2 has decent aoe ratio on their skilsl after the chances and you can always stack a little bit more aoe ratio with vubbe, phadas and barbecue squire food IF needed.

You can do Sword3 High2 Corsair3 for farming or Sword3 Barb Corsair3 Shinobi for bossing.

I'd suggest Sword3 Barb Corsair3 Shinobi because you can pillage cubes from bosses and we have the world boss thing coming up. It's also pretty good for ET because Corsair3's pistol shot + circling destroys everything, while Shinobi + Sword3 + Barb do great against the bosses. It's just a better all around build.

I'm Sword3 High2 Corsair3, and it's okay, but I wish I would have done the Shinobi route. Especially because I did the quest for Shinobi anyway.

Are there any MMOs that have a non-boring early game? I feel like every single one of them make the early game a complete joke because "it's supposed to be hard at endgame!" and then they have no end game anyway. Or they make it a joke because the people leveling alts have seen it 100 times before. I just want an MMO that's interesting straight from the beginning, gameplay wise. In Lewd, we recruit people only from 4chan's /vg/tosg/ and 55chan's /lan/tosg/ and our anons give up so easily. I fail to understand why people avoid so much playing together. Most of our new members asks for good solo builds and stops logging in when they reach the point where you have to play with other people.

We get big spikes in activity during actually exciting events and when there's new content or big changes in the game, but since there's no new content since the hunting grounds patch, we're back to being dead again (2~5 people logged in at the same time). Even the new leveling event and winter vacation (yeah it's winter here) didn't save us.

They probably realize how pointless it is to continue past a certain point. I farmed my orange practo weapon and put 3 level 7 red gems in it, got it to stage5, got some glad bands and a max peta. I'm using +6 315 blue top and bottom with 2 slots and +50 physical defense gems, vubbe fighter gloves for the AoE ratio, wind runners with magic defense gems for the run speed. I got 3 hats with physical attack + property damage, crit rate, or HP. I leveled my R1-R3 class attributes to level 80, my R4-R6 attributes to 70, and my R7+R8 attributes to 50.

In total, this is around 100m silver in gear and 50m-60m in attributes. Now let's think about where I go from here. I have enough gear to do Solmiki, so my next piece of gear would be Solmiki Leather gloves. THAT'S 50M SILVER FOR SOMETHING WITH WORSE STATS THAN MY LEVEL 15 GLOVES THAT COST 200K.

Et and endgame in general is shit in ToS. Take ET, you do the exact same shit for all 20 floors x1 is the dps floor, kill x amount. X2 is the protect floor, X3 is the nuke floor, X4 is the afk floor, and X5 the boss floor. You gain ZERO silver in there, and get a box a run, for a piece of solmiki armor you need 60 boxes or you reroll which means you need to literally spend 40 million silver for just the first two boxes, let alone the rest unless your team is stupid enough to run 25F 120 times whch is two months (without failure). It's also unforgiven as fuck since you can easily fail when someone dc's. Other than that you farm an orange weapon and hope luck is with you drop wise, or farm silver for attributes, which frankly you barely notice damage wise.
