That just means they're the characters you're most interested in right now, so if you write about them, your writing will be better. I'd much rather read storytimes written by someone who actually wants to write that story, rather than someone who feels forced or otherwise inclined to write it. The poisons I make and use barely help in combat.

By the time I'm already high level. I can 1-2 shot most enemies and don't need poisons. Why go through the trouble of creating a potion when I can just buy one?

I thought I had the pastebin of his background story saved in my bookmarks, but it turns out I didn't.

The basic gist is that he's a Black Marsh native that got exiled from his community because of his peculiar condition; that being that his scales somehow store (and release) electricity. He has no tail because the people of his home village cut it off, thinking it acted like a lightning rod, attracting the electricity to him. When that turned out to not be the case, they simply drove him off.

Due to this condition, he has a hard time making friends or even approaching people, really. He was briefly featured in my ongoing story, during the Preparation chapters, if you're interested.

You find the right hair I guess. Orcs look bad no matter what sliders you have, though most are just awful. What really matters is how you shade them(ENB). I did the sgtm thing because it's the only way to get a cool looking stream of bullets form the rifle like this, since at normal game speed even with automatic fire the rifles don't fire that fast. When I saw the zombie ragdolling in slowmo I thought it looked funny and since I happened to have msi afterburner running at the time I recorded a short clip of it.

Nope, bashed patches are pretty streamlined nowadays.

Basically, in the engine there are these things called leveled lists - loot/spawn tables. Mods change them, Bash records the changes of each mod and merges them so you get all the changes of every mod, rather than the last change overwriting every other change.

Really, though, most spell mods are designed for the vanilla game - where spells are weak. But then there's shit like ordinator that makes spells stronger, so spells end up overpowered. The real reason is that spells are unique effects and it's hard to think of how strong they'll be beforehand. Weapons, you can just tweak the damage to roughly vanilla values.

There's shit that devs don't think about. Especially bethesda. A fucking Explosive minigun in FO4 literally breaks the game.

All in all, I think we need more nuanced spells. Spells with downsides that have to be played around, like a game of MtG.

Still WIP though, but I have about two dozen more currently planned and will probably cap it at 20 per craft or so.

The really strong spells, like that sun spell, will require mini-quests to obtain. The sun especially will be locked behind the Imperial Civil War quests, so if you go nordcuck you can't get it. There will be a corresponding Frost spell, though, that imperials can't obtain.

That said, the main goal is to make spells that diversify mage playstyles, and make you have to use your brain when considering options.

Like, for example, a buff that grants you spell damage for a while, but after casting 5 spells it turns into a +melee damage and restore mana on hit buff. I envision that with TK dodge, playing a spellsword that fires off spells, rolls into melee range, and then rolls back out to restart the rotation.

Or things like Invoke, which encourages players to find neat synergies between elemental spells.

Alteration will get more offensive tools, Conjuration will get interesting summons and buffs, Destruction will get utility and flashy fireballs, Illusion will be tuned more toward making vanilla spells stronger (Like temporarily lowering a target's Level, so vanilla fear spells proc on them) or manipulating light itself into offensive tools (Like lasers, and prisms to split lasers)

A large amount of the playerbase already moved over. Not everyone needs whatever mods SKSE enabled and the game looks better with the ENBs it already has, and since it runs way better you can do more to push fidelity.
